INTRODUCTIONEmployees are really indispensable for the success of an organization because all thebusiness activities are managed and regulated by them only. Thus, legal bodies have enactednumerous of norms, beliefs, rules and regulations for protecting employees from wrongfulactivities (Caneand Kritzer,2010). Along with this, provides best opportunity of their selfenhancement. Therefore, assignment is going to highlight status of employees in three distinctcircumstances. Basically, suitable examples are outlined in this project for understanding rightsand obligations of workforces.MAIN BODYWorkforce is highly indispensable for the success of an organization because businessoperations are managed and regulated by them only. In fact, personnel are liable for managing allthe other tangible and intangible resources which is used by organization for attaining their setobjectives or goals in a defined time frame. Thus, legal bodies have enacted number of legallaws, norms, rules and regulations for protecting employees from wrongful conducts or anyexploitation that might incurred at workplace. However, three situations of employees are goingto discussed as follows in order to understand their employment status at COCO LTD which is acatering organization and currently encountering various legal issues.1stscenario-In a given case study, COCO LTD who is catering firm employs numerousof permanent staff for working in various functions. In fact, company have designed a list ofemployees from which few are working on casual basis and some are required basis. Elizabeth isan employee who was working from last four years and she always gets a priority for workingthere as sometime she worked in continuity for six days. As a result, she is now demands forraising her pay but COCO LTD decided to tell her that she is now removed from the list ofcasual workers. By analysing the situation, it has been understood that Elizabeth is not havingany job security which is required by employees as per legal rules (Guerinand Barreiro,2016).In fact, she even doesn’t know about her position at workplace because of changes in companypriorities. According to employment law in UK she have numerous of rights such as- authorityfor demanding rise in pay, ask for job security in order to continue her business for long term andso many other things. By thoroughgoing the entire situation, somehow it is seen that might becompany is going to transfer her name from casual workers to permanent by seeing her attentive1
