INTRODUCTIONPersonnel development is essential elements within an organisation that aid in achievingthe business goals and objectives of an enterprise. Development of human resources consist ofindividual training supporting the new opportunities, skills and resource distribution which areprofitable for worker and other activities of development. The process set within the departmentof HR is crucial to worker retention and on-boarding. Development of HRM are the integratedtraining use, improvement of carrier efforts and organisation in order to modify a person, groupor company's effectiveness (Barney, Ketchen Jr and Wright, 2011). Sun Court ResidentialLimited is a care home where old age and senior people are served. So they hire People R Us, atraining evaluation and consultancy enterprise. The purpose of this report is to analyse variouslearning style, learning curve, theories, lifelong learning and role of state in these activities. Thisreport will also evaluate requirements of training, training evaluation concept along with meritsand demerits of different training methods that People R Us is coordinating. TASK 11.1 Compare different learning stylesThis is fundamental for an organisation to render session of training and development totheir employee within a span of time. Sun Court Residential Ltd is serving their services tosenior people, thus, it is very essential for organisation to train and instruct their employeeappropriately. People R Us have suggested various learning style that can be adopted byindividual or organisation in order to obtain new skills and qualities. Here are discussed some ofmost significant styles of learning: Kolb's Learning Style: Kolb or David Kolb is known as learning theories father who haspublished their model of learning style in 1984 (Beardwell and et. al., 2013). This theory majorlyworked over two level: initial is four-step learning cycle and other is four styles of learning. Thistheory is also popular as the internal processes of cognitive. This concept is one of significanttheory of learning among all. Alan Mumford and Peter Honey Model: This theory is inspired from the learning styleof Kolb learning methods, both of them developed their own style of learning. This helps inmaking more smarter decisions grabbing the opportunities and support individual with bestlearning. This consist of four major elements: 3

Activist: This are the individual of company who learn through their action and activitiessuch as competition, puzzles etc.Theorist: Such individuals seek for a theory behind each and every activities or operationundertook by individuals or enterprise. Pragmatists: These people have capacity to perceive to implement any practice oractivities in present reality. Reflector: These people learn though contemplating and watching incurring. These oftenreflects their environments, individual etc. VARK Learning Method: There are various learning styles in which VARK is one ofmost effective methods of learning (Brewster and Hegewisch eds., 2017). This framework claimsthere should be no limitation which can help in achieving the life-long learning methods. Here isthese briefed elements: Visual: It includes information depiction and learning in charts, graphs, diagrams, maps,etc. Aural: Learning through audio such as radio, discussion, email, speaking etc. ReadorWrite: The preferred information are presented in the word format and learnededucate oneself through reading and writing methods. Kinaesthetic: This refer to the preference of perception linked to experience use andactivities. Learning Style Comparison: According to experience and consideration level ofdifferent learning but these has basic difference on the basis of information and learning grounds.Whereas, Kolb's style of learning is most effective that Sun Court Residential Ltd can opt forbetter environmental experience, on the other hand, VARK method of learning is relied oncommunication methods and emotional appearance of individual. 1.2 Role of learning curve & the importance of transferring learning to the workplaceLearning curve refer to the rate of an individual's development and progress in achievingnew skills and experiences. It can be defined as graphical presentation that shows the measuresof great experience and learning and how this improve them in effective manner. Through eitheranalysing the productivity of work or reviewing the performance of organisational worker,evaluation of learning curve can be done.4
