Introduction:
Life event refers to the changes of different phases in the life of human beings. Some incidents
occur suddenly and some events occur in a systematic manner. All changes are not good in our
life. Sometimes unexpected incidents happen which are beyond the intention of an individual.
Some specific events occur in our life which is really appreciable and supporting. Every human
being wants to be good, like good things and always tries to maintain a systematic style in their
daily life. But life is dynamic and bad things and accidental matters are needed to be accepted
naturally. Influence of a life event on an individual completely depends on the type of the event.
Every life incidents are having some distinct features. These features are very much important to
consider to make interpretation of the impact of different events. Each people are having separate
distinct habits and on the basis of this one can accept different events in a different way. The
main motive of this topic is helping students to make out the process through which an individual
may be supported by expected and unexpected transitions associated with life phases of human
beings.
John is the only son of Harry and Serena in London. He is 15 years old. From childhood, he is
healthy physically but mentally weak. He could not do his personal work alone without the help
of his parents. His parents were really upset in respect to this problem. His parents' were then
immediately contacted with eldercare solution and got a suggestion.
Task 1:
1. Influence of Significant Life Event on User of Service rendered
On behalf of the organisation, I have advised to them to give time so that John can realise
properly his own personal activities. He will understand as per mental growth. As John had
dementia problem so his family members needed to give special care to him and must be
protected from the different negative environment. Due to mental weakness, he could not accept
the situation properly. ‘Eldercare Solutions’ gave him support regarding the guidance how could
john cope with the adverse environment in his personal life. He had been considered of my
guidance. I had given full support to him for his improvement. His large support network had
been contacted for ensuring that he had full assistance during the initial time period after he was

admitted to the school. A special atmosphere was presented so that he could make his goodbye to
the friends he and his family had during their life period in their community or social circle. The
organisation had said to John’s parents to get a care facility that was very much helpful to
mitigate the current and future requirements of John. His parents, Harry and Serena were
discussed about different changes like physical, mental, emotional that might be occurred with
the move.
After six months later a significant change has been followed in the activities of John. He was
under continuous supervisions that improvement could be done very easily and within a shorter
time period. My work with ‘Eldercare Solutions’ is really satisfied me after this successful
achievement. So, proper counseling of human beings can help to change the society to make an
unexpected improvement. I have only dealt with mental care but social health care includes
different disease. As per Wahlbeck (2015, p.36), right treatment to right disease can change the
life of a human being. So, the social health care is having a great importance which enhances the
social improvement. In such a way different Healthcare units work for different disease and
becoming successful in their activity are really a significant life event. The service user is
satisfied with the work, this is the key factor of significant life events. According to my
experience, it is having a special influence on the society as a whole. As per their
recommendations other patients will come to me for health care and definitely it will help to
increase the responsibility. If I can completely do my work properly that means my
improvement. This improvement will make life event significant. This importance is to the both
health professionals and patients. So, one significant life event can increase the number of
important life events. According to Allen, et al. (2014, p.392), if there is no problem, there is no
solution. So the problem is the common factor in our day to day life. After dealing with those
problems successfully one can make his life events significant. Negativity is the key constraint of
any problem. If negative situations cannot be overcome then positivity will never come.
2. Interpretation of Feedback of their Friends and Family members to the life event of an
individual:
Dealing with the disease of John and conversation with the parents of John is really makes me
happy. The main thing is they have taken my advice positively and get the ultimate result. So, it
can be said that positivity can make the life of a human being successful. I am not so experienced
person; I have joined the organisation ‘Eldercare Solutions' for three months. But with my proper

effort, I have successfully done my job. The feedback I have collected from the friends and
family members of john are discussed below.
 John’s friends both of school and his neighbor are really happy for improvement of the
life of John. His mother was especially upset for this and his parents tried heart and soul
to cure their son properly. His friends are really thankful for our organisation for
providing such a good service.
 His friends now want to recommend others name to the ‘Eldercare Solutions’. Health
weakness is really a social issue. So everyone must be conscious regarding this matter.
John’s friends want to make a group which will contribute towards health care of the
society as a whole. They want to consider our organisation to help them in their
initiatives.
 John's parents are really happy for getting back their successful prosperous life. This is
considered as the remarkable change in the family life of John. They are now conscious
about the bright future of John.
 Harry and Serena are very much impressed after interacting with us and getting a positive
result. They have told about our organisation in the T.V channel. They are so proud that
the sudden change in their situation is unbelievable to them.
 They also have taken an initiative to serve for their neighbors’ regarding health issues.
They want our help and coordination so that they can be successful in their mission.
 After my health treatment along with some other treatments ‘Eldercare Solutions' is now
has gathered a goodwill regarding health care. The organisation now wants to expand
their activity and for they want to take some promotional techniques.
 Parents' of John says that one challenging person regarding health is really needed the
good guide. Not only eldercare but also other different organisation in the UK, which
institutes can take such an initiative combinedly. If all healthcare organisations are united
in respect to their vision, then they can work for the society unitedly. The government
assistance is also a vital factor here.
As stated by Cogan, (2014, p.478), no organisation can get positive outcome quickly. In order to
get the desired outcome, positive mind set up and strong determination are essential. One has to
work for the organisation with the proper goal. In such a way every event can be executed

successfully. A positive outcome can make the life event very significant. The positive feedback
from John’s parents and friends enhances the integrity of activities in our organisation.
3. Interpreting the impact of significant life event on care workers and professionals.
As per Schmied et al. (2013, p.167), the impact of significant life event on different care workers
and professionals in the institutions of ‘Health & Social Care' is distinct from one another. It
depends on the anatomy of life events. Life event may have positive or negative influence.
Activity and knowledge level of care workers and different health professionals are main factors
to be considered. If one health professional is having little knowledge or having a poor
understanding level or a newcomer in the profession, cannot give the fruitful result. Strategies
are essential for doing any activity in our daily life. Ray, et al. (2013, p.255), strategies must be
adopted accurately. Some care workers can do their work in the right manner and some cannot
do their work effective. Sometimes efficient professionals cannot contribute properly due to lack
of planning. So, not only efficiency, effectiveness is also an important part of achieving the
desired result. A team may conduct numerous sessions for developing the psychological
condition of a patient. Under this circumstance, the person who has lost his loved one, he may
feel alone and the vacancy must be fulfilled by the team. This is the negative life event of the
affected person and that life event can be made significant by assisting the patient. An individual
is facing the significant life event required to be more concerned regarding the support to that
individual in every condition. John is completely assisted by ‘Eldercare Solutions' when he had
gone through a significant life event. So help and supervision are essential for the persons going
through an important life incident. Care workers and another health professionals in an
organisation must work accurately so that their services rendered are appreciated by the society.
A person cannot come back to his normal life if he cannot work properly. As stated by Walsh, et
al. (2016, p.420), the continuous assistance of healthcare organisations is important to make a
change of human life. Health professionals must do their job actively so that it can influence the
society as the whole positively. Care workers assistance can change the life of a person and that
is the aim of every society. Any type of sudden accident of an individual is really having a bad
impact on the life of relatives and family members. The management of different health
organisations needs to control the activities of care workers and professionals. In an institute,
management must be effective. Effective control can integrate numerous activities of care
workers and health professionals. If care workers can serve properly then it is very easy to create

positive working environment and society will help the organisation to upgrade their level.
Professionals must know the way of dealing with an individual who is going through a crucial
life event. A person suffers from stress or feels mentally or physically weak for the undesired
experience. In this condition care workers must act as advisor or a counselor so that the suffered
person can get rid of his problem. Following this way numerous health professionals can develop
their performance.

4. Analyze the alternative provided by the organization for the backup of adults in residential
home care.
In the opinion of Dam et al. (2016, p.123), the residential home care is a place where unique
number of adults or in other word, a group of adults are living with a home like environment. A
trained group of member of the organisation which is running the center is dealing with their all
need, not only the basic need but also giving the emotional and mental support also. As a
manager of Signature, which is renowned organisation in UK, believes that it become
responsibility to mention the condition of adult living in the signature. The Signature is looking
after a patient of 65 year old man is suffering from Alzheimer. The signature provided all the
medical assistance to the support user.
1. The family member of the support user has spent a lot of money on his treatment. They have
taken him to expert for consultation. They use to visit him on regular basis.
2. The groups and communities are also contributing money for his treatment.
3. There is an important contribution of health and care center dealing with that person suffered
from alzheimer because Signature is a residential home care which can assist medically upto a
level but it need support of health center for full support. The health center has given the advice
to member of Signature which helps them to deal with the support user in emergency case.
The organisation like Signature is spread out all over the UK but still need support from the
society, communities and government. In the opinion of Brooker and Latham (2015, p.83), the
charity is solving the issue upto an extent but it need suggestion also from people and
communities. The residential home care not always has the medical facility for each and every
disease. Therefore, communities belong to medical world also participate to guide the Signature
in a better way. The family member has to be more active toward the need of adult of residential

home center.
5. Analyse the performance of the organisation on the rules and regulation for backing up the
person affected by dementia.
In the opinion of Van et al. (2015, p.1352), the dementia is not a disease, it is a word used to
mention that symptom where brain cell stop working. The Alzheimer is a form of dementia
where person has the tendency to forget things. The Signature has conducted a program to see
the performance of the member of the organisation on they deal with the person. As a whole, a
record will be generating which will show the strong and weak side of the organisation. The
program has been conducted in a very confidential manner where a person of the management
took admission in the Signature as a home centre residential who is suffered from the disease
alzheimer. Now, secretly whatever he is observing he is passing the information to the
management and based on his information, the report has been generated. The report is
mentioning the both, the positive and negative side which is as follows
Analysis of report
The member of the Signature is consulting with the doctor as per the schedule and medicine is
given to that support user. The Signature has especially divided the time for the member for
medical assistance as the person is forgetting things and he is not able to take medicine by
himself. The member of the organisation is treating very nicely with the person of alzheimer.
The Signature is unable to cover some need of the support user, as the organisation is giving
training to handle the residential of home care center, but no proper guidance has given to the
member of how to deal with the person suffered from dementia from the organisation. The
organisation should be careful of his each member when they are dealing with such support user
because every member is not treating the person in a same way as some has reacted badly with
support user. It happens when the member is not able to handle the situation. The best solution
for the Signature to deal with the support user of dementia is guiding the support user so that it
can somehow resist his brain to hold the memory. The way to do that is each and every moment
reminding the person of incident happened around him. In the opinion of Burnell et al. (2015,
p.97), the one more solution is the person’s family member who knew many incident related to
the person of dementia. They can share that incident with as a story to the person which will be
someway helpful for the person to regain his memory. The organisation should form a specific
network of people where the people would visit the support user randomly for helping him in his

memory. The regular checkup is necessary for the support user health practitioner.
6. Analyse the comfortibility of the sources from the outside for backing up the person affected
by dementia
In the opinion of Mangiaracina et al. (2017, p.43), the person affected by dementia has to handle
very carefully which need a knowledge and experience. The residential home care center should
take external help to handle this situation. It becomes the responsibility for the organisation like
Signature to take help of external source to train their member nicely. The external source means
the center those are giving live training of handling the person affected with dementia that would
make the Signature employee more competent to handle the person of dementia. There are other
tools are available for beside words and indication that is the education material. The education
material comprises of picture and video that would make the work easier for member of
organisation. The caregiver of the organisation may feel burden of repeatedly question from the
support user end, so the Signature should make guidance system for person so he has not rely for
everything on caregiver.

The sense of humanity is the main thing of any learning experience. If Health professionals can

and care workers must work in such a way so that they can contribute to some extent to the
