Part 1:Introduction:In this competitive world, where organizations are fighting with each other in the market place togain more financial benefits, services related to health and social care by respective organizationsare embracing the change and enhancing the priority of supporting different social cause.Linking the same, optimum health care is considered to be most innovative in this field and israted immensely high in terms of performance or position by the respective customers in themarket place. Optimum health care perform all the research on behalf of the customers and findthe most productive medical service provider in order to enhance the health condition of therespective patients or customers. As mentioned above, the enterprise is running in the sector ofhealth and social care and attracts customers from all over the world. Moreover, optimum healthcare is an enrollment programmer where demands and wants of patients or needful users arefulfilled in a fruitful manner. Assessment of project management tools:Managing the activities of different project under health and social care sector is as important asthat of retail sector projects due to involvement of health and mental condition of the customersand lack of attention might become life threaten issues for the same (A guide to the projectmanagement body of knowledge (PMBOK® guide), 2010). Further, monitoring and tracking ofproject management activities enable the enterprise to fulfill the loopholes present underdifferent department and recreate the working environment with credibility and efficiency.Moreover, project management tools provide the guidance to execute and monitor the operationsof different projects in an innovative way and strengthen the position of the enterprise in themarket place. However, implementation of project management is complex in nature and comprises of manychallenges, risks, and responsibilities from the part of the organization. Further, projectmanagement techniques should also be aligned with the management techniques of the enterpriseto contribute towards creating a better tomorrow for the respective patients or customers of thePage | 3
enterprise. Collaboration of more than one project management techniques would become verymuch profitable for the enterprise to manage the daily operations and overcome all thechallenges or issues arising from reasonable sources (A guide to the project management body ofknowledge (PMBOK® guide), 2010). Moreover, for enhancing the boundary of optimum healthcare, proper implementation of project management tools is necessary or relevant in the currentenvironment which is unhealthy for the entire society. Optimum health care with the innovative implementation of optimum health care would be ableto draw the attention of majority of the needful users in the market place and improve the overallquality of the service and that of customer satisfaction. While there are many types of projectmanagement techniques is available in the market place, Program Evaluation Review Technique(PERT) is more productive in terms of performance or credibility along with Gantt chart whichhighlights the overall duration of the project and keep track of all the project activities in anappropriate manner (Andersen, Grude and Haug, 2011). Moreover, PERT could be used to perform the planning and execution activities of optimumhealth care related to dissolving the respective issues or loopholes and Gantt chart could be usedto allocate the obligations properly. Thus, professionals working under optimum health careenterprise should consider the importance and significance of PERT and implement the sameafter paying attention to all the internal and external parameters of the health and social caresector. This would smooth the execution of operations both inside and outside the premises ofthe enterprise (Andersen, Grude and Haug, 2011). The use of project management tools while implementing the activities of the enterprise is highlysignificant or useful for any type of enterprise whether profit oriented or not. Moreover, thebenefits of executing the project management techniques for optimum health care elaboratedbelow:Helps in planning:Project management technique especially PERT assist the enterprise to perform the respectiveplanning activities or operations and align the actions of the enterprise with that of objectives orvision.
