INTRODUCTION
Technology is increasing day by day and play vital role in every kind of organisation.
Because it help in maintaining quality of goods is producing with use of minimum resources and
funds. When latest technologies is implemented in organisation it automatically attract more and
more customers towards fine quality of products which is produced by new equipments. Same
gives wide impact on development and growth of business (Awais Ahmad Tipu and Manzoor
Arain, 2011). Small enterprises are those which don't have more than 150 employees with 5
million per annum turnover. Roc Search Ltd is the SME company founded in 2007 firm is
operating in UK, German and United State working with approx 120 employees. Below
described report is divided in several parts which highlights management plans which is
designed by organisation by smooth flow of their daily activities. Data collection is also done in
this research for implementing appropriate tool. At last suggestion is given, for removing barriers
which is affecting growth of business.

P1 Aims and Objectives
Topic:- “The impact of digital technology supporting small business growth and innovation: A
case study on Roc Search Ltd.”
Aim:- Small business require more innovation in their existing technology which they are
using. This help them in serving latest and fine quality products to their current generation
peoples and also for future. When something innovative or creativity things done in done in their
business it assist in grabbing customers and making them satisfied. Although major purpose of
this is to “The impact of digital technology supporting small business growth and innovation: A
case study on Roc Search Ltd.” in simple term it can said that introducing of technology like
cloud computing, social media, internet and Artificial intelligence help in doing work easily like
production, storage and distribution, communication, administration so on (Basu, 2014). This
help in raising standard of people and in contribution of economy growth also. Main objectives
of this project is mention at lower part:-
 Identify use of technology in Roc Search Ltd. Along with entire small enterprise for
increasing society.

 To determine the requirement of modification modern tools and use of creation in Roc
Search Ltd (Geraldi and Lechter, 2012).
 Analyse efficiency of upgraded technologies and show their restoration of an companies.
After discussion of aims and objectives of this assignment as well selected organisation.
Then questions is framed for doing research for collecting more data. Thus, related to this
questions is given below:-
 Is their any requirement of alteration in technology and innovation using by Roc
Search Ltd?
 What is requirement of latest technology in Roc search Ltd?
 How innovation or updation in technology is helpful for respective chosen
organisation?
Above mention description aids learner in getting knowledge about the aims and objective of this
research with help of this management plan can be framed for chosen organisation. Instead of
this small enterprise help in developing economy when planning for these is done in appropriate
manner it will help society in raising economy of US, UK and Germany.
P2 Project management plan
Project management plan is work of manager that can be of organisation or specially
hired. This entire process is done on the basis of information given by the stakeholders and
project teams. It is an official document in paper form and approved by top level defining
following things like controlling, monitoring and execution (Harish and Kumar, 2014). Same is
document which summarised all written information for overall plan. It figure out approaches
and reach of project team that delivers the plan.
Thus, it contain bottom line on which working of project plan can be measures like
resources, cost, time, scope, risk and communication. It guarantee sufficient time taken to writing
a portion of work that includes the goodness of entire projects to present project.
Project management plan for Roc Search Ltd. They are launching new project.
Cost: this is important part of report because it includes all the expenses which is
spending is meeting day to day activity of business. Because project is divided in several parts
according to these there is requirement of fund to meeting their activities. Several expenses
included in this are staffing, equipment cost, hiring of some equipments, technologies,
manpowers so on (Hwang and Ng, 2013). It covers expenditure from starting to the ending.

Scope: In this step each and every member assigned their responsibilities related to
project plan. It makes a cluster of processes which needed to complete a project. Aids in
determining need to deliver project and its work. Procedure of doing work is setted as well
directions also which is necessary for achieving goals and objectives.

Times: this decide duration of project for completing project. It decide ability of
individual person that how much time they take in achieving assigned task (Verzuh, 2015).
Thus, it ensures planning, setting goal and priority of work for better performance. When
structured is made with their time duration then it help in completing work on time.
Quality: when project plan is designing then it should be kept in mind that quality of this
must be maintain. So when work in going on this will not create any issues employees can easily
understand that. Project is framed with the aim of earning profit and it is possible when quality is
maintained (Project Management Execution, 2016). For maintaining image as well existing
performance continue then there is requirement of controlling quality.
Communication: it is two way process where one is sender and another is receiver. This
play important role in achieving success of project plan (Leach, 2014). Cloud computing is the
best way of transferring information from one person to another. This path includes purpose,

approach, goals, objectives, tools, methodologies, roles and high level of communication
message. Social media, internet is also source which help in communication with each other.
Risk: main reason of this is uncertain circumstances which gives positive and negative
impact on project plan. These can be weather, technical errors, cost cutting and man power etc.
everything comes with some risk itself and for growth, development and opportunities bearing
risk is necessary.
Resources: resources are needed for finishing up project. But before providing resources
to employees it is necessary to identify their requirement that how much resources is needed and
for achieving which task. Without appropriate resources no project plan can be successful. These
can be human power, equipment, technologies and sites (Marston and et. al., 2011).
P3 Gantt chart and Work breakdown Structure
Gantt Chart- it is used for managing project which is used by every type of organisation.
For showing their task with dead line of finishing them it is in the form left side activities is
given along with on the top their time schedule. Task is presented with their bar presentation;
length of bar shows date on which assigned task have to be started instead of this time period as
well completion date of activity. This type of technique was introduced in 1896 founder of this is
Karol adamiecki who is named it “harmonogram”. Later on its name was changed on the name
of Henry Gantt who use this technique of creating chart in 1910-1915. In United state when
world war was going on Gantt Chart was used for making design schedule of different activities
along with along with their time of finishing (Porwal and Hewage, 2013).
Gantt Chart is used by most of the organisation for managing day to day activities as per
its requirement of finishing. It help in achieving goal and objective of business which is pre
determined by doing work on time. Because it shows allotment of activities along with its
timing. In simple terms it can be said that starting as well finishing time of activities is given.
Moreover, it is blue print of of all the task which is used for managing task for generating more
and more revenue. It also used for gaining return on investment. Roc Search Ltd. Use this
technique for managing their work because it aids in completing work on time. So their will be
no chances of complaint from clients. Important in this is that satisfication level of customers
raise (Sharon and Dori, 2015).

Work Break down structure- this structure is used for dividing work in organisation
among several employees. Assigning of task is done after identifying skills and knowledge of
individual because it is done after knowing capabilities (Smith, Gonin and Besharov, 2013).
When individual have their responsibilities then they work according to that. Roc Search Ltd.
Use work break down structure in their organisation for dividing work. This removes burden or
work pressure on individual. Dividation of work have no chance of mistakes because only one
person is not doing more than that or as per requirement is going on. Generally, it is blueprint of
of all the task to who these are assigned on individual and entire company basis. Apart from this
it motivate every employees to do work in proper manner because there is no burden of work on
individual. It is in tree shape because it divide task in small units and created by top level
management. Rest entire employees work according to the assigned task as well entire things is
done after considering such elements like duration, size of task and obligations because these are
important and play crucial role in achieving goal. Roc Search Ltd. Use work break down
structure in their day to day working then they can easily divide their work between 120
personnels because they have only this much.

Roc Search Ltd is an It and engineering sector company which requires innovation and
motivation in their techniques which they are using currently (Ryan and Campbell, 2012).
Because this help them in satisfying several customers and also in converting loyal. When
company is adding something new in their products and services they are providing then there is
requirement of taking reviews or suggestions of their clients. They can be possible by asking
several questions from their clients in the form of questionnaires. When production is done on
the basis of need and wants of customers then their will be less chance of failure. Although,
research which have to be conducted is in the form of qualitative and quantitative these both are
used for collecting data and information. Given below:-
 Qualitative research- in this research information or data which is collected from
selected sample is in the form of name, symbols, code numbers, literature and many more
(Stoshikj, Kryvinska and Strauss, 2014). This is done in deep by taking face to face
interview of individual or team, telephonic apart from this is can be done in some other

ways also like identifying perception of customers and survey. Moreover it help in de
terming need and wants of customers or current market trends also (Thomas, 2011). So
production they are doing is as per the satisfactory level of buyers. Their are some more
methods which help in doing qualitative research are; content analysis, observation and
ethnographic observation.
 Quantitative Research- as per this information or data collected from sample is in the
form of statistical and numerical which is understandable by financial team of company.
It is used for preparing budget for organisation Roc Service Ltd is rendering services to
their clients on these they have to focus more (Viaene and Van den Bunder, 2011). This
company is serving in UK, US and Germany having 120 employees approximately. So
collected data and information help respective enterprise in enhancing their business.
 Primary Research: this is kind of research in which information is collected by
researchers. In simple term it can be said that this is first hand data which is not published
before in any journal or books. The person who is doing research directly contact to the
sample person who is selected. No mediator or third party involve in this direct contact
with customers can be done.
 Secondary Research: data which is collected by researcher is already published in some
magazines, news paper and in some other also. Roc Search Ltd can use their last years
data also. In simple term it can said that this is second hand data because of many time
use.
 Sampling: it is that in which organisation collected data from the person who is selected
name as sampling. This is not that much necessary for small scale enterprise because they
have minimum numbers of customers. Although, in this questionnaire is framed in which
questions is asked from the targeted sample related to products and services they are
offering.
Sample size for this is 30 customers which is selected for taking feedback regarding

After examine the above mention information it has been identified that small enterprise
have to use latest technologies in their day to day activities. Because these help them in growth
and development of their business. Moreover, Roc Search Ltd implement same thing in their
enterprise through this they can maximise profit by enhancing knowledge and skills of every
individual. Selected company is not that much popular for their offering because it is SME but
when they use latest technologies as well equipment then it easy for them to become famous in
the field of It and technologies they re offering.
It is recommend that implementing latest equipment and technologies in administration
guaranteed success as well help in generating more revenue. Because this aids in satisfying

customers by this same organisation become famous for the services they are rendering. Few
important modification respective company have to apply is given below:-

When I gone through this topic, that the chosen organisation have to implement latest
technologies in their activities. So they can raise future opportunities for their business as well it
assist in satisfying customers and grabbing more. It is used for introducing latest software related
to It and engineering in which they deal. Along with this Gantt chart and work break down
structure help in managing their day to day working of enterprise. To accomplish these I
