INTRODUCTION
Person-Centred care refers to focus on individual's personal needs and desires to gain
respective medication so that they become central to care. It is known as an effective approach of
nursing to provide appropriate treatment for wellness of a person (Whalley Hammell, 2015).
However, it can be known as efficient technique to fulfil actual medical needs of an individual to
achieve their better health condition. This report will focus on different case scenarios to provide
person centred care to respective patients.

Applying 6C's of care for Mr J in operating theatre
According to case of Mr J undergoing operation, 6C's of care can be applied including
care, compassion, communication, courage, competence and commitment. However, nurse
should remain free of bias to work with compassion and effectively communicate with patient
and colleagues to provide proper medications on time. Nursing staff must become competent to
promote quality of care and fulfil their commitment while providing care with dedication to Mr
J. it is necessary for nurse to remain focused and dedicated towards patients in order to provide
effective treatment for making then healthy.
Key components of person centred care under anaesthesia
In case of Mr J, several key components of person centred care under anaesthesia consist
valuing patient, autonomy, life experience, understanding relationships and environment. It
includes relevant other factors that can be used in given case scenario including rights of patient,
dignity, privacy, individuality, choice, respect and partnership. It is effective to maintain privacy
and dignity of patient while providing treatment under anaesthesia to gain better outcomes
(Motschnig and Nykl, 2014). Meanwhile, it is necessary to establish mutual understanding with
patient to make them feel comfortable and fulfil their desires to achieve their recovery soon.
Moreover, it is significant to put Mr J under observation to take immediate action for further
problems or related pain to maintain stable condition of given patient.

What things can be done to make patient comfortable in recovery department
The effective medications and care activities are required to be carried out in case of Mr J
to make him feel comfortable that facilitate to improve recovery. It is essential to honour patient

make them feel comfortable. However, it consist to make ease of access a top priority and

centred care planning encourage to consider her choice of carers visit for twice a day for personal
care and meal preparation.
Priorities of person-centred care planning for Miss K
The priorities of person centred care is to focus on number of components to provide
appropriate care facilities to Miss K for solving their health problem. It includes to consider
several factors such as respect, dignity, choice, confidentiality, rights and effective relation with
patient to fulfil their needs properly (Johnson, 2017). However, the priority in given case for
professional to put twice visiting at home for patient care and meal preparation. Moreover,
visiting twice in a day is favourable for given patient which facilitate to improve recovery of
them.
Care planning with Miss K and Ways to met her choices
The care plan for managing post operative care activities for Miss K includes to utilise
BONES in terms of recovering from the condition. BONES stands for blood thinner, on a bowel
regimen, need for pain control and stay active or safety. However, nursing staff should consider
her choice carer visiting twice in a day in order to fulfil her actual requirements to make them
healthy very soon. Considering her choices improve her confidence and make comfortable with
care professional to overcome with respective situation after hip replacement surgery. Moreover,

it is essential to focus on choices of Miss K to increase her comfort level which is suitable to
achieve better health condition as soon as possible.
Visits in care plan in best interest of patient
According to interest of Miss K, it is required to put two visits of care professionals at
home which make patient comfortable. It is helpful to monitor condition of an individual and
easily get signs of risk factors to take immediate actin for preventing them. Moreover, two visit
in a day are helpful to observe patient and their condition to ensure their stable situation (Cleary
and Hungerford, 2015). It is necessary to personally monitor an individual to make sure about
their stable condition that can become possible by visiting two times at home which is favourable
for wellness of her condition. Additionally, completing the choice of Miss K of visiting two
times is helpful to increase the speed of recovery.
Key acts of relating to person-centred care
The key acts related to person centred care in case of Miss K to make her overcome with
post operative condition to become completely well-being and stable. It includes to consider
certain acts like respect for patient's preferences, coordination & integration of care, information
& education, physical comfort and emotional support. However, it also consist involvement of
family & friends, continuity & transition and access to care which helps to make an individual
well-being. It is also important to maintain confidentiality of selected patient and dignity while
providing care for their well-being.

From the above concluded that person-centred care can be described as to consider
personal requirements an individual along with their actual desires while providing medication
so patient become central of treatment. It includes to focus on several factors including respect,
rights of patient, privacy, dignity, choices and effective partnership to deliver person centred care
for their well-being.
