INTRODUCTION
With the evolution of the world through the concept of globalisation there is an immense
change in the technological areas which have completely transformed the procedures of all the
task that are related to everyday life. With the commencement of the various innovative concept
which has lead to the transformation of various business and helped them to adopt those
approaches which are completely time and costly effective and makes their human effort less.
Technological innovation has evolved the multichannel shopping completely with the adoption
of several systems like management information system, transaction processing system and
decision support system that helps the organisation to manage the data and also to analyse
various information which is required fir the important decision making. With the adoption of
such technological software and hardware there is a chance of less human error that has
facilitated every business to get flourished successfully in the market and provide opportunities
to earn good profitability.
TASK 1
a) Plan for collecting data from students from all the campuses
It is important that data being gathered is appropriate enough, which can help in finding
out specific results. It is essential that the type of data being used during investigation is specific
enough that the ultimate results being gathered are able to meet the objectives of overall
research. In order to serve this purpose, data will be gathered from the students of UK CBC. It
will help in preparing an assessment regarding, impact of technological innovation and evolution
of multi-channel shopping ultimately affecting high street shops and malls. In order to conduct
the present research, Queens gate Shopping centre have been chosen, which a Mall, situated in
UK. The data collected from the same will be helpful I reaching to specific conclusion for the
research. In order to perform this function. Data will be collected in both primary and secondary
format (Bhattacharyya, 2018).
Primary data is the first hand data that is collected directly from the respondents. It is
generally collected in questionnaire, survey or interview format. The researcher is planning to
float online questionnaire so that it can get easy to collect data from the respondents without
visiting them. In order to perform this function, data from 20 students will be collected as it is
not possible to gather data from whole of the population. It will also help in ensuring that data is
being gathered in the stipulated time being specified for it (Phelps and Wood, 2018). In addition

to this, secondary data will also be collected from the respondents, where, data will be composed
from books and journals, regarding subject matter decided for the research. It will help in
collecting specific information so as to fulfil the requirements of aim.
b) Presentation of survey methodology and frame of sample used
Survey methodology
It is important to assess that appropriate data collection method is used by the investigator
so that it can ultimately help in reaching to specific result. In order to perform this function in the
most appropriate manner, online questionnaire will be issued to the respondents based on which
information will be extracted. So as to perform this function, and issue online questionnaire to
the students, e mail ids of each students will be taken from administration block of college and
questionnaire or direct link to it will be mailed to them. A time frame of 4 days will be given to
them, in which they are required to submit the questions to the answers. Closed ended questions
will be included in the questionnaire in such a manner that, specific answers can be generated out
of it.
Sampling frame
Sampling frame helps in collection of data in a manner that appropriate as well as
effective results can be generated out of it. It is important to note that, gathering of information is
an important aspect to be initiated by the investigator in a manner that extra expenses are not
attracted to the decided portfolio (Yuniningsih, Widodo and Wajdi, 2017). Hence, it can be
stated that sample of 20 students will be taken into consideration which will act as a
representative sample of overall investigation.
c) Designing questionnaire for collection of data
Closed ended questionnaire has been formed so as to initiate the research. It helps in
ensuring that the ultimate output received is achieved in such a manner that it can help in
reaching to the appropriate results. Further, results gathered through it will also be helpful in
providing in clearing addressing the desired and designed aim of overall investigation.

calculated is 1.55. median and mode are 1 and ultimately standard deviation calculated for the
same is 0.69. Interpreting the results, it can be stated that, innovation is the key objective which
helps in providing the appropriate as well as effective goods and services to the customers. It can
be stated that it can help in bring adequate positive change in overall revenue and sales aspect
(Zeng, Chen and Li, 2016).

The results indicate that bringing technological innovation in this field helps in bringing
overall changes in total sales revenue generated. The results o statistics indicated that mean value
of responses collected is 1.5, median and mode value is 1. Ultimately, the standard deviation
assessed out of the responses is 0.77. In the end, it can be explored out of the results, that,
technological innovation helps in bringing positive change in overall results of revenue being

Introduction: The main aim of research is to analyse how technological innovation and
evolution of multichannel shopping impacting on high street shops and malls. It will help in
understanding the impact on innovation on revenue and thereby profitability of the business
(Gumus, Egilmez and Park, 2016).
Research Methodology: In order to gather information regarding subject matter, Questionnaire
format has been adopted with closed ended questions in it. Primary and secondary both type of
data will be collected. Secondary data will be collected through books, Journals and other
online sources.
Findings: based on statistical assessment of the data collected, a positive relationship between
growth, revenue and innovativeness has been found. Trend line graph revealed regarding
positive increase in sales revenue and profits both (Karmarkar, Shiv and Knutson, 2015).
Conclusion: It can be concluded in the end that modern technology plays a substantial role in
development of crucial business operation in a manner that maximum profits out of it can
effectively be generated. It can be assessed that an overall increase in profits have been
initiated due to adoption of constant innovation activities in the organization so as to generate
