This assignment presents a summary of chronic bronchitis, focusing on information gathered from interviews to inform the creation of a disease awareness pamphlet. Summary
From the gathered information, it has been analysed that chronic bronchitis can be
described as an inflammation of bronchial tubes which are considered as airways that carry air to
lungs in human body. It causes cough which is responsible to bring up mucus very often and
symptoms like wheezing, low fever & chest tightness. I have evaluated that the interviews are
helpful to gather desired information which provide support to prepare more effective as well as
efficient pamphlet about chronic bronchitis. However, it has been analysed that interview 1 is
supportive to me for determining level of information of common citizens of country in respect
of chronic bronchitis. However, it provide help to understand the actual criteria of conveying
knowledge regarding this health problem among people for boosting up their awareness about
chronic bronchitis. Moreover, it is supportive to determine that which information is must to
mention in the pamphlet in order to improve overall health of individuals in particular
geographical area. Additionally, it is necessary to make people aware about proper regular habits
in respect of remaining well being respectively.
Considering the collected information with the help of carried out interview 2, I have
analysed that people want detailed information about medical term related to diagnosis,
treatment and symptoms. It consist their desire to to boost up their knowledge regarding medical
procedures and clinical practices which are efficient in context of determining actual problem
along with treating the same. Meanwhile, it is necessary to provide proper discussion about
diagnosing techniques such as pulmonary function tests, chest X ray, CT Scan (computed
tomography), spirometry test and sputum culture. This perspective of citizens is helpful for me
determine important information to be display in the forthcoming pamphlet about chronic
bronchitis. At the other hand, I have evaluated that people are inquisitive to know about
symptoms of chronic bronchitis so that they can determine such conditions and consult
immediately to the physician to reduce risk of occurring complications. Moreover, I have studied
that proper description of treatment methods including cough medicine, bronchodilators,
mucolytic, anti inflammatory drugs, oxygen therapy and surgical process is required to be
mentioned in content pamphlet.
The most important section is precautions which are helpful for individuals to improve
their daily in order to remain disease free by ignoring chronic bronchitis. Basically, I have
determine that overall information regarding chronic bronchitis should be mentioned in proper

language which can be easily understand by common people. It is necessary to provide
information about overall precautionary steps such as quit smoking, easy breathing, have cloth of
mask on mouth while facing excess pollution, wash hands and steer clear of infection which
facilitate to make a person healthy and fit. In addition to this, it is important to mentioned
benefits of these precautions and reason behind doing so which encourage people to adopt these
activities in their daily life. Furthermore, I have evaluate that people are required actual causes
should be display with their appropriate description in context of occurrence of chronic
bronchitis accordingly.
