INTRODUCTION
To create event planning, professional practice considers an important role in the success
of business. In this way, different kinds of event management courses determine with practical
element where students plan and execute to bring many key principles and concepts of event
management (Manchester, Gray-Miceli and Owens, 2014). In this regard, present report based on
event plan helps to make successful results with professional practices which divided in certain
activities and break. In order to focus on the present report, it covers different range of
communication styles which are needed for event planning. Furthermore, problem solving and
importance develop in planning and running of event. Moreover, it determines team dynamics
with include variety of sheets to delegate activities and take part in building a team.

1. Different range of communication styles and formats which design for event (P1)
In order to plan for event, there are different kinds of communication styles considered. It
assists to focus on listing and understanding the meaning for message. Furthermore, written
communication is also determined as a message which read and communicate to observe a
person (Moen, Cotter and Sutter, 2018). Following are different communication styles
determined: Verbal communication: Verbal communication in business is determined by person and
phone. In this way, message send through oral medium. In this way, message will be
conveyed from sender to receiver through telephone. Therefore, effectiveness is also
increasing through establishing a clear and effective learning. As per the importance, it
can be depicted that communication portion also recognise which assists to manager to
communicate message correctly. Apart from this, in event, there are some other methods
also exist which help to communicate message in a systematic manner. Storytelling is
also an effective form which helps to serve important organization functions through help
and construct common meaning for individual. Written communication: Apart from verbal communication, written communication is
also an important perspective that helps to make effective results in communication.
Written message also impacts positively on the people to consider printed messages.
There are several examples of written communication such as memos, proposal, e-mails,

letters, training manuals, operating policies, etc. In event planning, these kinds of
material assists to maintain security. On the basis of conversation, effectiveness is also
developed which could be read by many people. For instance, employees, customers, etc.
There are certain exceptions such as voice main is an oral message. Further, conference
calls and speeches are one to many communication so that e-mail can have only one
recipient.
 Non-verbal communication: Non-verbal communication also considers an important role
in business which assists to determine examination on actual applicants. In event
planning, different tone can change the perceived meaning of a message. Furthermore, in
event planning, it is important to focus on the tone so that words need to develop
understanding which help to appreciate and grow business as well. Opportunity also
develops that assists to match properly to verbal and non-verbal cues (Moen, Cotter and
Sutter, 2018).
2. Producing professional schedule (P2)
In order to schedule the activities, it is important to identify planning and resourcing for
two day events. In this regard, design and training pack includes different activities which are
needed to breakout sessions. They are as follows: Range of activities: In order to create plan, it is important to look towards different
activities. These activities are considered to set tasks and develop ideas towards event.
Therefore, effectiveness also develops to focus on collecting proper information for the
present event. Apart from this, finding room for event, making and sending invitations to
other participants, agenda and training for all members as well as feedback from staff
event also need to take. Therefore, it helps to serve a systematic work in the event
program and attain effectiveness as well (Manchester, Gray-Miceli and Owens, 2014). Seminars: Along with this, seminar is also considered to focus on attaining the desired
results with providing effective results. In this way, event planner is able to attract
maximum people in the event through determining creative work performances. In
addition to this, seminar also includes academic instructions in university and other areas
where commercial and professional organization bringing together in small group for
recurring meetings (Fjellstrom, Mattsson Sydner and Lumbers, 2015).

In event planning, standards need to be determined to solve problems with effective
leadership. This is because; it assists to effectively work and make proper resolution towards
issues. Furthermore, it is also beneficial to consider planning and running of event in a
systematic manner (Fjellstrom, Mattsson Sydner and Lumbers, 2015). Following steps are
needed to be considered for problem solving: Define problem: To solve a particular situation, it has been seen that focus is needed on a
particular problem. Therefore, it requires techniques which includes flowcharts to assess
expected steps of process and cause and effect to define and analysis root cause. With the
help of this chart, it can be stated that review and documents processes in current work
(Powell, Duffy and Cathey, 2016). It helps to evaluate the impact of new tools and
revised policies in development model.

 Generate alternative solution: On the basis of selection of one solution, it can be stated
that several alternatives have been proposed. Started with certain characteristics, final
solution is defined to attain the desired results (Manchester, Gray-Miceli and Owens,
2014). Standards also allow evaluate intended results which offered as alternative. When
people try to build desired results, they need to collect information about the process.
Multiple alternatives also increase the value of final solution so that team and individuals
will determine target standards that serve as the basis for developing investigation
alternative. In this way, brainstorming and team problem solved with using useful tools. Evaluate and select an alternative: Skilled problem solve consider in series of
consideration when the best alternative selected. Particular alternative help to solve
problem without causing and unanticipated problems. Furthermore, all individual are also
accepted alternative solution that implemented as important perspective at workplace.

follow up the solution that assists to consider different tasks. On the basis of most

To determine planning and running of event, it can be stated that management needs to

information at workplace. Furthermore, printing and online advertisement needs to
generate advice with specific reporters. Overall logistics: It is also considered to be an important perspective that assists to meet
with large issue that are not taken properly. Therefore, it is important to include number
of people on the basis of last thing (Manchester, Gray-Miceli and Owens, 2014). As
results, equipment implement to handle and maintain safety in taste of crowd. Better
work also ascertain to make effective budget program. Engage with attendees at event: In order to meet with customer needs and demand, it is
essential to engage with attendees at event. This is because; arrangement for high profile

truly work for evaluating value of person work. Furthermore, personnel need to focus on
their work that assists to meet with desired results in systematic manner. Staff members
have to take roles and responsibilities as per interest areas and qualification. It will help
to focus on maintain effective results (Percy-Smith, Larkins and Bereményi, 2016).
 Customer service: Personnel decisions and customer services also implement as
emotional response. Therefore, it helps to reduce negative light to collect proper
thoughts. Customer services also important task that assists to meet with aims and

In order to look towards the above CPD plan, there are several activities needed to
complete event. Therefore, it is essential to attain more desired results with ascertain
effectiveness. Furthermore, all tasks and goals complete with specific activities that are
achievable according to time. As per time frame, these activities need to be completed to attain
more creative work performances. Apart from this, there are certain activities in which event
planner unable to complete their work performances in systematic manner. Hence, action plan
must be taken to complete it. In addition to this, plan must be taken on the basis of staff member
performances which help to support to management and business development plan as well
(Getz and Page, 2016).
Moreover, it is important for me to focus on time frame and activities that consider as per
resources. It is the best aspect which help to accomplish my own desired performances. On the
basis of above CPD plan, I have lack in many areas to attain and perform systematic work. As
results, it is important to increase ability and performances towards leadership skills, presentation
skills and communication skills. All these activities help me to get several benefits and
innovative work performances (Fjellstrom, Mattsson Sydner and Lumbers, 2015).

In respect to meet with desired results, it is important to increase career goals and
produce development. In this way, plan also implement to identify future goals. Therefore,

From the above report, it can be concluded that event planning consider important role to
make effective functioning. In this way, planner must consider several activities that needed to
make plan to attain desired results. Therefore, report summarised about different range of
communication styles which needed to focus on design of event. In this regard, verbal, non-
verbal and written style of communication must develop. It is the best aspect to attain more
effective results and maintain effectiveness in the event. Moreover, it focuses on CPD plan
which require to make effectiveness in the company to take proper care and maintain goals at
workplace.
