TASK 2:Event proposalEvent conceptThe event of marriage is going to be held in Melbourne on 10th of September 2017 it's aChristian marriage named “SPECIAL MARRIAGE CEREMONY”. The event will be held for 8to 10 hours from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. The ceremony will be celebrated hugely with maximum 400to 600 audiences in number. The main purpose is to serve better to the bride and groom and theaudiences, providing with better facilities like proper seating arrangement, proper cuisine, properdecoration or proper maintenance of the ceremony hall which will overall make the eventmemorable.Event Feasibility & MarketingThe management will be busy in maintaining the event. Staffs will be busy in decorating theceremony hall, arrangement of proper lighting, seating availability, spreading the invitations,providing cars. The stakeholders and other agencies plays a key role in the event planning. Twotypes of stakeholders are identified:Internal Stakeholders (Staffs and decorators): Decorators plays an important role by decoratingthe event hall and on the other hand staffs provides proper care in the maintenance of otherrequirements and look after other labors whether they are performing accordingly or not (Nielsenet al. 2013). External Stakeholders (Customers and suppliers): External stakeholders that includes suppliershas an important role in the event planning. Suppliers provide the management with the requiredthings like decorative objects, fancy lights, labors, etc.Keeping in mind it has been set that minimum finance should be utilized. Thus, financialmanagement strategy has been adopted where maximum work will be done and less funds willbe used. This can be done with the help of proper marketing, smart and efficient man power isrequired to do so. A luxury car will be provided for escorting the VIP, s and close relatives ofBride Groom. However, both the Bride & Groom will be brought to the venue in a chopper(Aarrevaara et al. 2017).Social, environmental and economic effect may prove as a barrier for the event management. ForInstance, the ceremony may include beef and pork items in its catalogue or liquor, sometimes itmay happen that the society may or may not allow these items. The functions with loud music in3
