INTRODUCTION
Disease is a disorder in which smooth functioning of the human body is obstructed due to
microorganism or outside particles (Kuhar and et. al., 2018). Different types of infections and
how to prevent them will be explained below.
TASK 1
1.1 Explain infectious diseases
This type of disease is caused by different types of microorganisms like bacterial,
parasites, fungi or viruses. It can spread from individual to individual and able to causes fatal
diseases within them. Various symptoms of it are fever, fatigues, coughing regularly, aches in
muscle etc (Infectious diseases, 2019)
1.2: Difference between bacterial, fungal and viral infections
 Bacterial infection and how they spread: It can be not be seen without microscope as
they are so tiny in nature but has complexity within it. Bacterial have only one cell with
rigid and thin wall and filled with fluid from inside. They can also reproduce on their
own and have lived for more than 3.5 billion years. Bacteria can be spread to different
individual through drinking and usage of polluted water, breathing after someone
sneezes, by touching contaminated places.
 Fungal infection and how they spread: Fungal or Fungi are microorganism which need
host to grow and reproduce on their own. They lives on human body, air, soil, water etc.
Infection due to fungi occurs when it wont be possible for immune system of human to
tackle it. Fungal spread in the body if individual has weak immune system or some
unfavourable particles enter inside a body (Bacterial and Viral Infections, 2019)
 Viral function and how they spread: They are smaller as compare to bacteria and have
protein coated wall and have RNA or DNA inside it. Virus needs host for survival as they
can reproduce on their own. It can be spread through biting of infectious insects, vomits
of other, exposed to infectious fluid at the time of sex etc.

2.1: Effectiveness of drugs and hygiene practices
Main use of drugs is to provide strengths to the human body and immune system so that
they can fight against the external particles which are affecting their functions in a negative way.
To fight with fungal infection, one can use echinocandins, flucytosine, amphotericin B etc so that
infections would be eliminated from the body (Dingle and et. al., 2017). For bacteria, individual
can use Fentanyl, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone etc. Various practices human being can comply
with is given below,
 Clean hands before eating
 Make the environment clean and healthy
 Purified water should be use and wash vegetables with clean water etc

3.1: Signs and symptoms of three infectious diseases
 Symptoms of Bacteria diseases: Headache for longer time, fatigue, cold, sinus infection
etc are some of the infection.
 Symptoms of Virus diseases: Different symptoms of it are as follows, regular running
nose, coughing from many days, fever with high temperature, constipation etc.
 Symptoms of Fungi diseases: Few symptoms of Fungi infections are itching, skin colour
becomes red or skin got cracked etc.

CONCLSUION
It can be summarise from above mentioned information that human being should concern
about the cleanliness in the society, home, schools, office etc as unpurified environment affects
human body in a negative way through deteriorating the health.
