The present report is based on case study of Victorwho is suffering from mental disorder. In this regard, through this study, his family backgroundand rules are amended in mental health Act, 1983 for mental health care patients are to bedescribed. In addition to this, proper solution for managing his personal affairs can be introducedthrough this assignment. Moreover, all persons related to Victor and involved in the case are tobe presented. Thus, students are able to understand common laws for Victor and Paul to managehis personal affairs through this report.ARGUMENTS IN FAVOUR AND OPPOSITION OF VICTOR'S CASEIn the given case scenario, it is recognised that Victor is suffering from mental disorderand lives with Paul; his best friend in London. His (Victor's) parents and grandparents have diedand step mother called Shila, who took care of him since when he was of 2 years,and meet himoften. In addition to this, his mother's sister calls Bella lives in Italy because of her banking job.Bella is married to Frank who lives in London with his 18 years old daughter however, bothcome to Bella for meet up (Rogers and Pilgrim, 2014). Including this, it is identified that Victorand Paul are best friends sharing a flat in London for six years. As per these details, it is noticedthat for taking care of Victor and his personal affairs, their relatives and familiars who can takehis guardianship for his taking care. However, any one of these can take guardianship of Victoralso alternatively he can be admitted to hospital for Victor. Thus, according to Mental HealthAct, 1983 under section (26), there are some laws provided for taking care of such mentalpatients, also for guardianship to manage his personal affairs (Fisk, 2015). However, as per the case study, it is also identified that all his relatives can take care ofhim after taking guardianship effectively. According to critical evaluation, it is also identifiedthat all his care takers are engaged in their own life so he can be admitted to hospital for effectivetreatment and nurturing him. Therefore, for managing Victor's personal affairs, these solutionscan for proper taking care and managing his affairs efficiently (Burns and et.al., 2013).
