INTRODUCTIONManaging project is the procedure of initialising, controlling and exctuing by the team inrespect to accomplish the goals and objective in a given period of time. Further it is one of theeffective way of managing the project and remove all the risk which are involved in it. Thepresent report is based on the given scenario of TSK bearing Ltd which deals in designing andmanufacturing of industrial bearing for automotive industry. This report will cover a new projectwhich is introduced by an organisation for gaining success. Along with this, different types ofactivities which is required to manage and successfully implementing this project will bediscussed.TASK 11.) Types of projectTSK bearing company is focusing on manufacturing project with the aim of developing anew technology that can be fit in the cars for making it more innovative. Further this will besupply to suppliers into different global car manufacturing plants. The reason behind developingnew technology is that it helps in gaining competitive advantage. Further this type of project willbe completed in the factory or home-based environment. The other types of projects are knownas the managing project. It is essential to manage the project so that it can accomplishedsuccessfully. 2.) Scope management In scope management a set of process is being defined and mapped accordingly. It is an effectivetechnique in order to accomplish the project and make sure that project manager allocateresources successfully (Addis, 2012).. In this project, TSK bearing limited is focusing onlaunching a new technology that is Mild Hybrid which will help in gaining competitiveadvantage. For this project allocated budget is $ 12 million pound and it will be completedwithin a year 2018. Further for implementing it successfully manager will provide training anddevelopment facilities to employees.3.) Difference among Gantt chart and critical pathFor a project management Gantt chart is a tool that can be used for schedule the time of each andevery activity. Further it shows the visual representation of the tome which is consume in each activity and impact on delay (Griffith, Stephenson and Watson, 2014).. On the other side, in critical path the dependencies show between the given task. Along with the logical relationship 2

between the project so that with its starting and finished date. With the use of Gantt chart it become easy to monitor the progress of the project and complete on time. It made easier for the project manager to see its needs and work accordingly. Further Gantt chart comes under the category of bar chart and critical path come under the flow category. 4.) Way to measure the success of the projectIt is important for the company to measure success of the project and it can be done throughreview the quality and completion of each and every activity (Walker, 2015).. If the projectquality is good then it will be considered as a effective. Further the project management is onhigher probity and it cost is $ 12 million pounds. Along with this to measure the success theproject, stakeholder satisfaction level can be recognised. 5.) Managing a change within a projectIt is also essential to manage the project on time. For this purpose, first objective need toset and defined in front of project team member. Further different strategies will be made so thatit can be accomplished on time. For monitoring the progress control process can be installed andimplement in all the stages. Along with this change management process can be used forbringing the changes within the plan. 6.) Evaluating, monitoring and controlling the projectFor the progress and impact of the project it is important to made judgement and evaluatethe project. Further project is need to monitored continuously so that changes can be made ifrequired. Through tracking the process of implementation, it become easy to analyse themistake and steps taken to remove it. There are various method which can be used forevaluating the project that is status of the project or first hand information or project profile.Apart from this it is important to monitor each and every activity time and controlunnecessary wastage of time consuming process. TASK 2BackgroundIn modern era, there are many new technologies are introduced in the market and it made toughfor the company to survive in competitive market. To meet the needs and demand of thecustomer has become tough and great challenge for the firm (De Bruijn and Ten Heuvelhof,2010).. Therefore, to accomplish success organisation need to implement new technologies andmake innovative products and services for their customers so that they can easily grab attention3
