The question- What is the political ideology that you would prefer as the dominant political
force in your country?
Target Population- The target population that could most efficiently answer this question is
educated youth and the middle aged working population of all the genders. The youth taking
education right now are aware of the most contemporary problems of the world today. Political
ideology that would be most effectively find solution of the contemporary problems are
comprehended by the youth (Gilens & Page, 2014). On the other hand, the middle aged working
class are most aware of the practical problems that are affecting the economy and society of the
country. Therefore, they can most effectively answer the polling question.
Characteristics of interest of the target population- The target population constituting of the
youth who are mostly students pursuing higher education and the working class who are mostly
middle aged, have varied interests. The students are mainly interested in ideological debates and
establishing their beliefs, whereas the working class are mainly interested in solution of practical
problems that imposes hurdles in their daily life.
Choosing the sample of the population and the number of people surveyed- 500 people will
be surveyed. The sample of the population will be chosen by listing famous colleges, universities
and companies, and then picking the best performers from the respective institutions.
Questions-

 How do you think the political ideology you have suggested would solve current
problems?

Objectivity of the Poll- The poll would not be biased because there will be no questionnaires
supporting one political ideology. Apart from that the people will have the independence to
answer open ended questions what they may like without external influence (Roberts et al.,
2014).
