MAIN BODYPost modernismPost modernism is a 20th century style or a concept related to architecture, arts andcriticism which helps to represent a departure from modernism and also characterised by self-conscious of earlier style and convention, a mixture of various artistic media and style and ageneral distrust of theory effectively. It is also a broad development and movement whichdevelop in the mid-to late- 20th century across architecture, art, philosophy and criticism whichmarked a departure from modernism effectively.Postmodern theory, philosophy influence the language of the postmodern landscapearchitectures and got materialised in the use of narrative, eclecticisms, the Rhizome-principle.Postmodern landscape composition can be associated with anti-hierarchy, unusual structure,land-form, and playful mood (Ruccio and Amariglio, 2016).
