QUESTION 1
The moral norms are considered as the norms that command without approving anyone
for claiming the deed commanded. They are the rules of morality that should be followed by
people. On the other hand, the legal norms are not only individually obligatory. However, they
provide others the right of claiming the fulfilment of the norms. It is essential to know the
relationship between law and morality. The important connection can see between legal norms as
well as moral norms in Turkey. It can see that the good legislations are stranded in
comprehensive moral principles. However, the law is written down and passed by the
government of Turkey (Duan, et. al, 2018).
In addition, the moral norms are made according to the social values. It is evident that
they are based on the common agreement in the society of Turkey as to what right as per moral
values and what is wrong as per moral values (Dabrowski, 2018). It is mostly agreed that the it is
wrong to do murder. Thus, there is law making the action of murder of somebody an offence.
Therefore, the moral norms and legal norms have connection with each other in these types of
situation. In Turkey, it is socially agreed that it is a crime to kill someone. Moreover, there is
provision of punishment for murder as per the Turkish law. It is found that the punishment for
this offence (murder) is life imprisonment, even though the prison sentence between twenty and
fifty years can also be provided (Greabe, 2017).
Furthermore, the law is simple rule. It is written down in significant formal documents
such as Act. It is clear that for the most part this is required to agree with moral norms in the
societies otherwise this would cause conflict as well as annoyance among the individuals therein.
However, it does not signify that it continuously does. Additionally, one main difference amid
moral norms as well as legal norms is that they both norms have different creation. The legal
norms are created in informal way. On the other hand, the moral norms are created in the

informal manner. In different terms, it can say that one has to follow various different formal and
methodical process, such as involvement of the draft, proposal, and review of law (Mulder,
2018). In opposition, the moral norms are created of the common social agreement amongst the
majority of individuals whose moral opinions (moral norms) bring into the line. It is found that
generally, the moral norms lead, law in place of law leading moral norms. Henceforth, the law
has pressure to be change by moral norms. In opposition, the moral norms have not any pressure
to be changes by law.
