aged people and this technology able to make the smart environment for the aged people. IoT
can collect data which helps to keep a track of the patient's location and to provide urgent
medical assistance as per their requirements. The care of the aged people gets improved by
using IoT technology and smart environments. The several IoT devices help to monitor the
medical compliances of the patients like heartbeat, blood pressure and more.
With the help of the IoT devices, medical staff can analyze the changes of the aged people which
they need in the proper course of medicine. This results of no delay in the proper treatment of the
seniors. IoT devices included several remote monitoring tools that send signals to the caregivers
and remind the people for the regular dose of the medicine (Gelogo, et al., 2015). The
smartwatches used to monitor the daily activities of the seniors so that proper treatment can be
provided to them for their proper care.

all the challenges occurred in this process. The main contributions in this work includes
the proper setting of goals and objectives, selecting of proper IoT tools, decides the
correct hardware, collect useful data and select a proper IoT platform. This maintains the
overall solutions used to solve the challenges in the IoT. For example, the contribution in
managing IoT platform is one of the main contributions in the work of IoT.
Maintain security and privacy
The healthcare workers need to maintain the proper security in the managing of the
patient’s data so that security can be maintained and no mischief can be created by the
hackers. The privacy of data is essential for the overall process (Joyia, et al., 2017). The
old patients also need to maintain privacy in their care so security management is
necessary for the overall process of using IoT in the patients monitoring system. The
several algorithms used to maintain the security and privacy in the healthcare as they
manage all the IoT activities in the healthcare system. For example, anonymization
algorithm is used to provide safely features for the proper IoT system and this improves
the security in the overall process.
