Introduction
Siri is well known application Apple’s voice control application personal assistant which
first appeared in iPhone 4S. This latest technology draws the attention of consumer and which
lead to increase sell of this iPhone model (Laver et al., 2012). Siri application is designed in such
a way that user can easily interact with large number of device which is inclusive of IPhone,
IPad. Siri is designed in such way that it can have easy access to large number of application that
is Mail, message, maps and many other. Siri just works by having a tap on the on the home
button which reducing effort of opening large number of application manually.
In this report screen capture, platform requirement of Siri has been done properly.
General description of the application has been in provide (Bellegarda, 2014). Strength and
weakness of Siri application will be clearly discussed in the coming pages. Proper analysis has
been done on the real world application of Siri.

Platform requirement
Siri application is required in IPhone 4S and later models of it. It comes in built with iPad
with retina display, mini version of iPad, iPod touch in 5th generation and later one. If the user
does not have any of this devices, then he cannot have Siri application.

Strengths
There are certain number of strengths of this Siri application that are providing
information, have reservation, get recommendation and play music. Siri can easily display the
weather forecast of a locality (Assefi, 2015). This application can be used for having a look on
various thing on the internet that is movie, store numbers and many other things. It is well
integrated with various application so which provide control on the various IPad application for
listening to various music. It provides proper direction to when the user need it. It can easily
provide proper driving direction so that user can easily reach the targeted destination. This
application can easily book or have reservation in any restaurant.
Weakness
There are many disadvantages of Siri like listening, support in silent mode, languages for
proper navigation, constant access of internet. Developers at Apple have worked hard to make
Siri experience to be very much useful for its users. On the contrary in loud environment Siri can
face difficulties (Miner et al., 2016). All iPhone has a special mode which is silent one which in
general disables the common sounds like text alerts, notification. On the contrary the Siri will be
still audible in low volume. The language of Siri is limited to English which is its biggest
disadvantage as user for any other language cannot follow the instruction of Siri. Another
disadvantage of Siri is that it constantly depends on internet connection (Lohr, 2012). This
application cannot function until and unless it has a stable access to internet. If this application
does not have access to internet, then it cannot understand or recognize commands based on
voice.

Use
Two important real life application of Siri are works as a wonderful assistant, for sending
text. While driving a car Siri application provides the platform of texting important things to
anyone. Siri is considered to be a useful application for texting important messages. In many
cases it can be considered to be wired for user for having conversation with mobile phone
(Morris and Mueller, 2014). Many users round the globe use this platform for texting their near
and dear ones during driving. This application is considered to be built with power of Wolfram
Alpha which is a well-known computational engine of knowledge. This engine claims to have
knowledge of various things ranging from calorie calculation to mathematical calculation like
probability.
Conclusion
From the above discussion it can be concluded that the report focuses on Siri which is
well known application. Capture screen of this application has been provided with general
description. Platform requirement of this application that is Siri has been stated in details. Pros
and Cons of this application has been disused briefly. Real world application of this application
has been discussed in details.
