INTRODUCTION
Assimilation is a process of integrated ideas and people from different cultural
backgrounds in order to establishing equality in society. The essay will outline the positive and
advantages of co-operation between multicultural people.
MAIN BODY
Assimilation plays a vital role in coordinating efforts of people working together. It is the
procedure of understanding the information and ideas and then implementing them fully. It is the
process which cooperates the efforts of people with different backgrounds (Alencar and Deuze,
).The process is termed as adaption in which experiences and new information are integrated to
innovate the existing idea which can promote cooperate and equality. Further, in this process the
people from distinct group are grouped together in order toe establish cooperation and
coordination regardless of their cultural group which are formed in society (Creating an
Inclusive Society: Practical Strategies to Promote Social Integration, 2009.). Moreover, the most
positive advantage of assimilation is the idea establishes cooperation between different people of
society which assist in promoting equality among all the individuals.
The concept of Assimilation has metaphor of melting pot, where people from different
cultural groups, work together with their equal contribution to form one unique society. With this
idea the people losses the sense of competition and instead people work together in order to
attain one common goal (Theodore, 1907). In accordance to Assimilation individuals have
equally say and own their own sense of responsibility when working together. Thus, the major
advantage of Assimilation in cultural group is that it eliminates the communication gap between
people of society which belongs to different cultural groups (Gailliard and Davis, 2017). Hence,
positive impact of this process is that it assist in establishing equality among all the multicultural
people in country.
