ABSTRACT Reading is a process of decoding the symbols written in a complex and cognitive manner. On the other hand writing is a process of using symbols to communicate the thoughts in a presentable form. This report will focus on how students can improve their reading ability with the help of implementation of effective strategies in the dynamic environment. Also, it covers the strategies which can be implemented to improve the writing style of students.

INTRODUCTION Readingandwritingaretwointerrelatedcognitiveprocesswhichenhancesthe personality of students. Reading can be defined as the ability of an individual to decode the symbols which are useful to find the meaning. On the other hand writing is a process of communicating the thoughts of an individual in a way which can be reconstructed by other users. This report will focus on improving the reading and writing skills of students(Çetin and Akkoyunlu, 2017). For this there are various strategies mentioned in this report which will shape their career towards the success and growth. MAIN BODY Strategies for improving reading abilities. Reading is an essential skill which must be learned by the students which will enhance their way of thinking. It keeps the mind of students updated and healthy. For improving the reading abilities of students following strategies can be used: Predicting Content:This strategy depicts that the students must familiarise themselves with the content. This involves that the student can predict the content by looking at the headings and pictures before starting reading(Williams and Beam, 2019). It also includes that the students must evaluate the following questions before starting reading: What is the current knowledge of the topic student know? What do the pictures and headings are depicting the students? After analysing these questions student can start their reading which will improve their analytical skills also. Skimming:It is a technique which is used when the students are in hurry to understand the concept. This is a process in which students quickly scan the content of reading and try to grasp it in their minds for future. Usually students tends to read first and last sentence of the paragraph and sometimes they read the innovative words which is an effective way of understanding the main message of the paragraph. This technique saves an individual time by avoiding laborious reading. This method can act as a preview method in which a reader can only review selected content out of the heavy content provided. But sometimes a reader can miss important points or have to overlook the content again(Chan, 2018). Rapid reading will give a general idea to the reader about the

Furthermore, for applying this technique one must follow certain steps. The first step is reading the table of contents or overview of the chapter to learn about the main idea of the content provided. After that the reader can go through main headings of each chapter just to improve their knowledge. Then he must read the entire introductory paragraph or can read the last sentence of the other paragraphs. Furthermore, the reader must read the keywords in bold or italic. Lastly, reader must focus on the summaries of the source provided. Scanning:This techniqueuses keywords and organisational cues. The goal of scanning is to swoop down important facts and locate them effectively. These facts can be founded through approaching long text passages available in the sources provided to the reader. Then after that the reader must scan the table of contents, indexes, summaries, headings and important cues. Moreover, to develop tables and list of content this technique must adopt an organised way such as organising them alphabetically or chronologically. Note taking:This techniqueis useful when the reader have long paragraphs to read then it will be difficult for the reader to remember each and every important point of the content provided. Sometimes the reader struggles to remember what they have read in the last paragraph in the last page. So to avoid this struggle or confusion in their mind they adopt this technique of taking notes while reading the content. It will help them in organising their ideas and information(Marzec-Stawiarska, 2016). Moreover this will engage them towards the topic and also keeps a record of what they have read which can be easily located in the future there off. Preparing the environment:This technique includes the preparation of environmental according to the reading habits. This includes organising books efficiently, selecting peaceful area and so on. Moreover, this helps the reader in efficiently working towards their knowledge and skills. The reader can improve their abilities which will enhance their professional rewards towards intrinsic terms.
Strategies for improving Quality of written projects. A project can be defined as an attempt made by a manager to achieve some desired results by implementing an approach of systematic management. Projects are organised and formed in writing to improve their authenticity and transparency. Written projects are useful and after that record for future reference for the third party as well. Students prepare written projects in order to gain knowledge and enhance their professional skills in the external environment. For improving their quality of written projects a student can follow the following suggestions: Clear structure or paragraph:Structure Act as a guide which helps the reader in their potential workings which is useful in understanding the paragraph structure to enhance the knowledge of the reader. A reader can divide the paragraph in three sections namely the beginning, the middle and the end(Sarıca and Usluel, 2016). The clear structure of paragraph will tell the Story to the reader and define direction from where to start and where to end report to ensure the successful achievement of the project objectives. Correct grammar and spellings:A student must have effective knowledge of grammar rules and where they have to use those rules to ensure effectiveness in their reading and writing, Grammar is important as it provides the reader with the information in the project report. For eliminating the grammatical errors a student must practice the grammatical rules in writing before attempting an important project. This will also help the reader with clear communication and enhance their knowledge in the practical environment. Listening to feedback:Feedback helps the students in improving their mistakes in their written project. The project assigned to the student must be completed by them without any mistakes and the guidelines provided for it must be followed completely. The feedback must be analysed efficiently by the students to ensure their search for the possible solutions. Sometimes the feedback can motivate the student perform better in the future work(Nainggolan, 2019). But some of the feedbacks demotivate the student by questioning there skills and abilities in the project assigned to them. The student must consider the negative feedback as a continuous learning tool which helps them in devising strategies to align their goals towards potential success. Proofreading:It acts as the final stage of editing the project assigned to the students which will exclude the errors and mistakes in grammar and punctuation. It is important to
ensure that there must exclude numbering error, grammatical error, or spelling error in the project submitted by the students. It enables them to delete unwanted content or points which can divert a reader from the main topic of the project. A student must read the project aloud to easily spot the errors which will help them in finding ways to fix them effectively. Correct referencing:Referencing allows a student to acknowledge the contribution of other writers in their projects. It is necessary to add references which will ensure that the data provided in their written project is authentic and reliable. Moreover the referencing will respect the intellectual property rights of the researcher and helps the student to enhance their scientific knowledge(Sangeetha, 2020). Lastly, it enables the verification of the project work and enhances the academic writing skills. RECOMMENDATIONS A student must set reading goals to enhance theirskills and write them efficiently in project work. Also, this will motivate them to achieve high set of goals. Read in small portions will help them in understanding and memorising the content easily. Whilewriting the project a student must ensure that they will follow the guidelines provided. This ensures authenticity and enhancement of their knowledge towards the successful attainment of goals. Personalizing the content will help them in increasing awareness of the topic. This will also ensure that they relate the topic with their own life. As this will help them in writing the project more effectively. Also, the student must practice the problem solving skills to improve their knowledge in complex and critical areas.

CONCLUSION From the above report it can be concluded that reading and writing are two interrelated concepts. This concept affects the life of an individual as well as student in a positive and negative manner. If an individual have perceived efficient reading skills then it does not guarantee that they have effective writing skills also. But ensuring enhanced writing skills an individual must practise grammatical rules to enhance the paragraph structure in the projects. Reading abilities will help a student in improving their perceived knowledge in diversified areas of the practical environment.
