INTRODUCTION
Exhibition report refers to an organised presentation which includes the display and
presentation of selection of items. It has the purpose to exhibits and make sure about the event
that can lead to possible successful. This can also include the perspective to enable customer to
stay loyal for longer time. Assistive technology refers to the products or systems which are
enable to support along with assisting individual with disabilities, other impairment and
restricted mobility to perform different functions which cannot be possible otherwise. In this
report, there is discussion about need for development and use of assistive technology within
health and social care provision. There is also discussion about the new developments within
assistive technology, potential ethical issues and different challenges. This report also includes
the influence of technology on models of care within health and social care services. There is
also discussion about evaluation of assistive technology which can lead to meet the needs,
opportunities, and reduce inequalities for improving health and wellbeing within health and
social care services (Syriopoulou-Delli and et, al., 2020).

In health and social care there is need to improve in technology which can be effective and
allow to improve this in which assistive technology (AT) has been introduce that allow and help
large number of patient to get better and effective response in order to improve their health
condition. This may include different technological products that can be hearing aid, braille,
spectacles, wheelchair and others. Assistive technology enables people to live healthy,
independent, productive and allow to get support in live life more effectively. This may include
any device, equipment, system design which can allow individual to get assist in their everyday
activities (Adjekum and et, al., 2018). These are various types of assistive technology which may
include mobility aids, like scooters, wheelchairs, crutches, orthotic devices. Hearing aids that can
help individual to hear properly. Cognitive aids which allow people in memory, seeking attention
and other challenges which are faced during thinking. computer software which may include
voice recognition programs, screen enlargement and screen readers.

Driver of assistive technology allow to provide better technology response that can help
patient to get better improvement and reduce the risk of getting health care services need. WHO
suggest that it can help people with disability and people with mental condition to reduce the
impact of dementia and autism (Steindal and et, al., 2020). It also help older people to assist and
support in their better quality of life to improve and continue their good health. Chosen theme is
Healthcare setting in which there is a need to provide better care and support through help of
assistive technology. It also allow patient and healthcare professional to deliver better service
through providing help like a wheelchair, hearing aid and others. There are millions of people
who are suffering from rise in non-communicable disease. About 2 million people need at least
one assistive product and many other older people also need to for more assistive technology.
This can allow them to live their life more effectively by 2030. Nowadays, there are 1 in 10
people need access to assistive product which allowed them to provide support in living their
normal life and reduce the chance of getting health and social care services (Laughlin and et. al.,
2018).
There are some of the key performance indicator for the assistive technology which may
include profit margin customer satisfaction client retention rate. There are large number of
people who are using assistive technology which may include the wheelchair or hearing aid and
many other technology which enable them to get satisfy with their use. It help them to live their
life more effectively and get support from the was assistive technology to improve their daily
performance.
There are a number of client retention rate because these assistive technology are highly
effective and provide so much satisfaction to customer that enable them to continue use. There
are many assistive technology that help patient and people to reducing issue and provide
comparability that can help in getting better and effective response.
There are various development in assistive technology which can create impact on
delivery of healthcare services and improve individuals life to reduce the chances of getting
health care services. Through providing a spectacles, wheelchair, listening and communication
aid and there are many other assistive technology which are effective and support many
individual without getting noticed. This help people to make their daily activity is easy and also

provide better support without getting even noticed that they are using assistive technology to
comfortable in their life (Lohmann and et. al., 2019).
Task 2 new developments in assistive technology, the challenges and potential ethical issues
There are some of the development in assistive technology which includes early detection
and screening, portability, customization and voice assistant. These are highly effective and
allow large number of population to use these assistive technology in their daily life. This also
can be used by healthcare professional while delivering health and social care services to the
patient or their client. This can help to improve patient health and detect any need for the
assistive technology.
There are various challenges which may include policy, product, provision, personnel.
There are different country which has different type of policy-related with assistive technology.
This can create a high impact on country's income and play a role to allow for the use of assistive
product within health and welfare scheme (Alqahtani and et. al., 2021). It can also lead to create
a high impact due to out-of-pocket payments by users along with their families. Another
challenge is the product which is due to primary serving high-income market due to lack of fund
or user centred research development quality and safety standard and nationwide. Service

efficient way without facing any type of issue.
Assistive Technology can lead to provide various systems in accomplishing different daily task
to live for every individual who have any type of disability. There are various ethical principle
which can be distributed and assistive technology should be used which may include justice,

autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence and fidelity (Al-Zboon, 2020). There is also need to
ensure about individual rights that may includes human rights that can help them to get better
and effective help in getting a better response. These are the ethical consideration that should be
taken in care that can provide better and effective response to the service user and should not
create any type of harm for them. This can be used as per the service user demand and should not
create any type of issue related with health and social care (Intapan and et. al., 2020).

With the healthcare sector, the assistive technology is work as additional source which play
crucial role in the service delivery. In addition, the influence of the assistive technology is
usually observed under the various category within the healthcare setting which used to explain

The coordination of the care is usually helpful in order to extend such patient which is based on
the episode of care, where the coordination between different provider is the aspect of essential
segment but they also embrace the concept of integration across the course of life. Therefore,
individual model which is based on the elaborated literature which is vary as per the design and
integration process that have stand behind them. They are usually following various aspect which

technology. In this, they promote healthy outcome for the patient by taking the approach and

Task 4: Evaluating the impact of assistive technology
The assistive technology plays a useful approach across the chosen area that is health care
settings for health and social care sectors by improving the opportunities that indicate a number
of patients are used to take support and care. In addition, the assistive technology provides them
additional source of support and care which is based on technological aspect that configure the
needs and accessibility of the patient and the instant way. Moreover, they also reduced
inequalities because the healthcare professionals are usually taking the support of the assistive
technology in order to diagnose or treat the patient in the effective way. These all aspect which
are driven with the help of assistive technology play a vital role in improving the health and

wellbeing of the people. The wellbeing of the individual has a wider scope that is usually
improved with the concept of effectiveness due to the improved outcome and recovery of illness
in the instant way provide benefit to the number of people (Robinson, Deng, and Aria, 2020).
With this aspect the evaluation of the assistive technology shows various primary
approaches with the help of assistive product that maintain or improve the individual functioning
and independence. In addition, they also applicable in order to promote the patient wellbeing.
Therefore, the people are usually living with the healthy, productive, independent and dignified
life in order to participate in the education towards the labour market and civic life. Moreover,
the assistive technology also plays a vital role within the disabled people by providing them
support in their difficulty of speaking, typing, writing, remembering, learning, walking and many
more (Sujatha, Bapat and Dash, 2021).
The assistive technology plays a vital role in the health and social care towards the patient or
the people by increasing the wellness and welding by reducing the needs for formal health and
support services long term care and the work of caregivers. In addition, without the assistive
technologies people are usually excluded isolated and dealing with the poverty. It can enhance
the impact of disease and disability on the persons their family and society. The benefits of
assistive technology within the health and social care are usually enhance the choices safety,
independence and sense of control. Moreover, they are also applicable in order to improve the
quality of life and maintained the ability to remain at home. In addition, it also useful to improve
the support for the people with long-term health condition and many more (Van der Zijpp,
Wouters and Sturm, 2018).
CONCLUSION
As per the above analysis, it is analysed that the assistive technology plays a wider role
within the healthcare settings in order to provide independence support care to the number of
people. therefore, they have various challenges and ethical issues while developing assistive
technologies within the healthcare settings which is improved by using appropriate technique and
tool. Moreover, assistive technologies are usually influence due to the care models which may
influence the planning and provision of care. They also show various improvement and
enhancement that follow the changing aspect of needs and demographics. In addition to this, the
assistive technologies provide a better impact within the health care setting by improving health
and wellbeing and reducing the inequalities.
