INTRODUCTION
Exhibition report refers to an organised presentation which includes the display and
presentation of selection of items. It has the purpose to exhibits and make sure about the event
that can lead to possible successful. This can also include the perspective to enable customer to
stay loyal for longer time. Assistive technology refers to the products or systems which are
enable to support along with assisting individual with disabilities, other impairment and
restricted mobility to perform different functions which cannot be possible otherwise. In this
report, there is discussion about need for development and use of assistive technology within
health and social care provision. There is also discussion about the new developments within
assistive technology, potential ethical issues and different challenges. This report also includes
the influence of technology on models of care within health and social care services. There is
also discussion about evaluation of assistive technology which can lead to meet the needs,
opportunities, and reduce inequalities for improving health and wellbeing within health and
social care services (Syriopoulou-Delli and et, al., 2020).

Task 1 need for the development and use of assistive technologies in Health and Social Care
provision
In health and social care there is need to improve in technology which can be effective and
allow to improve this in which assistive technology (AT) has been introduce that allow and help
large number of patient to get better and effective response in order to improve their health
condition. This may include different technological products that can be hearing aid, braille,
spectacles, wheelchair and others. Assistive technology enables people to live healthy,
independent, productive and allow to get support in live life more effectively. This may include
any device, equipment, system design which can allow individual to get assist in their everyday
activities (Adjekum and et, al., 2018). These are various types of assistive technology which may
include mobility aids, like scooters, wheelchairs, crutches, orthotic devices. Hearing aids that can
help individual to hear properly. Cognitive aids which allow people in memory, seeking attention
and other challenges which are faced during thinking. computer software which may include
voice recognition programs, screen enlargement and screen readers.

Driver of assistive technology allow to provide better technology response that can help
patient to get better improvement and reduce the risk of getting health care services need. WHO
suggest that it can help people with disability and people with mental condition to reduce the
impact of dementia and autism (Steindal and et, al., 2020). It also help older people to assist and
support in their better quality of life to improve and continue their good health. Chosen theme is
Healthcare setting in which there is a need to provide better care and support through help of
assistive technology. It also allow patient and healthcare professional to deliver better service
through providing help like a wheelchair, hearing aid and others. There are millions of people
who are suffering from rise in non-communicable disease. About 2 million people need at least
one assistive product and many other older people also need to for more assistive technology.
This can allow them to live their life more effectively by 2030. Nowadays, there are 1 in 10
people need access to assistive product which allowed them to provide support in living their
normal life and reduce the chance of getting health and social care services (Laughlin and et. al.,
2018).
There are some of the key performance indicator for the assistive technology which may
include profit margin customer satisfaction client retention rate. There are large number of
people who are using assistive technology which may include the wheelchair or hearing aid and
many other technology which enable them to get satisfy with their use. It help them to live their
life more effectively and get support from the was assistive technology to improve their daily
performance.
There are a number of client retention rate because these assistive technology are highly
effective and provide so much satisfaction to customer that enable them to continue use. There
are many assistive technology that help patient and people to reducing issue and provide
comparability that can help in getting better and effective response.
There are various development in assistive technology which can create impact on
delivery of healthcare services and improve individuals life to reduce the chances of getting
health care services. Through providing a spectacles, wheelchair, listening and communication
aid and there are many other assistive technology which are effective and support many
individual without getting noticed. This help people to make their daily activity is easy and also
