Introduction
 A proposal need to be developed to host a sporting event
 The event selected is Triathlon
 It includes Cycling, Swimming and Running
 The event would be hosted in Port St. Lucie
 It is a city of Southern Florida, located on the Atlantic coast
 It would be hosted in order to attract the people all over the world

About the Event
 A triathlon can be termed as the multisport race, which involves three continuous as well as
sequential longevity races
 The most common form of the sporting events includes swimming, cycling and running over
different distances, though there are other forms available in this sporting event
 The event was first played in the year 1920
 Triathletes compete in this event for fastest total course completion, which includes time
changeovers between the three races

Event Place
 The event would be organized in port St. Lucie, Florida
 It is the most populous municipality in that county, comprising of a
population of almost 200,000
 It was incorporated in the year of 1961
 The swimming event would be held in swimming arena just beside the
Turnpike (State road 91)
 The cycling event along with the racing event be held in the highways
as well as other roads leading to the PGA Village Golf Complex, where
the final ceremony and prize distribution would be held

 Name of the event would be Port St. Lucie Triathlon Championship 2020
 The date of the event would be 1st March, 2020
 Event Organizers would be Chamber of Commerce
 Purpose of the event would be to raise funds for the victims who has suffered in the last
hurricane faced by the people of Port St. Lucie
 Estimated Budget for the event would be $30,000

Event Planning Details
 As said earlier, the event would be hosted in three parts
 The swimming event would be held in swimming arena just beside the Turnpike (State road
91)
 The cycling event along with the racing event be held in the highways as well as other roads
leading to the PGA Village Golf Complex
 The closing ceremony and the prize distribution ceremony would be held in the PGA Village
Golf Complex
 People need to but tickets to enter the golf arena, as well as the swimming arena too

Details of the Event
 The tickets would be sold from selective outlets in the city, along with the schools,
universities and coaching or training institutes
 Students would be given huge discount on tickets
 Food and drinks would be provide by a local event management group
 The food would be prepared by maintaining the social and cultural values of the place
 A risk management team would be there in the venue
 Medical assistance would be there with proper presence of medical kit and ambulances

Publicity Management
 Advertisements would be given in the local newspapers and magazines
 Social media presence would be implemented
 The details about the event would be shared in the social media accounts of the people who
live in and around the city of port St. Lucie
 Local channel would do the Live coverage on the television
 The last date of fetching sponsorship would be 31st January, 2020
