Attraction refers to as a process of examining the qualified and knowledgeable candidate for the company. Retention of the employee is to make the exciting employees stay in the organization (Grant, 2014). This report studies the HR process of the Starbucks Company, a well-known company that offersthe finest coffee across the globe; a company is maintaining 28 outlets in Australia. The company also provide products like Hot and cold beverages and fresh food. The human resource management of company plays a vital role in the success of the company (Starbucks Australia, 2017). The HRM of the company performs functions like job analysis, attracting talent, selectingand appointing the candidates for the company who can perform effectively and efficiently in thecompany to achieve the organization goals and objectives (Starbucks Australia, 2017). The aim of the HRM is to hire a talented employee or adequate workforce that leads to the success and growth of the company. the HRM perform each activity in a set format that include analysing thedemand of the department for the employees, attracting applicants through job description, selection process, appointment process, rejection process, legal compliance, orientation, socialisation and ends with the strategies that helps the HR to retain the talent (Baker, 2014).

The Starbucks formed the policies and strategies considering the mission of the company which says that company believesin hiring the skilled human resource. To accomplish this mission, the company is retaining the talent and attracting the talent towards the company (Starbucks Australia, 2017).Job Analysis Job analysis is an essential to process that is conducted for gathering information to analyze the jobs that Starbucks has an opening in. The information regarding the openings in the company is provided through an advertisement that carries all the required information to search the talented candidates for Starbucks (Aswathappa, 2013).Organizational Design- Starbucks has functional organization structure; the organizational structure is implemented in the job analysis and design by the HRM of the company. The structure helps the HRM department to distinguish the jobs opening. The job opening varies from department to department; according to the department, it is important to identify the correct talented employee (Larsen, Manning, & Pedersen, 2013). Though, a company organizational structure influences management along with communication, leadership, changes and other variables. Methods of Job Analysis- The selection of methods of job analysis depends on the HRM department. The Starbucks uses observation, interview, and previous diaries record methods of job analysis. The observation job analysis is enough for hiring the employees for the sales position in the Starbucks. To analyze the job of team supervisors and the hiring manager of the outlet the company HRM department need to conduct the interviews and the previous diaries
