The first phase of the essay will emphasize on the challenges in context of attracting and retaining the workers in the telecom sector. It has been analyzed that attrition rate in the telecom sector is high which is also affecting the success of companies. It is noticed that it is necessary to control the attrition rate so that it could be easy to accomplish set targets in the competitive market. Lack of satisfaction among the staffs is the challenge that impacts the retention and also attraction rate in relation to the employees. It is observed that in the telecom sector, the needs of the workers have been enhanced as due to this the satisfaction level of the employees has been reduced. Also, one of the reasons behind the challenge relates to attraction and retention of the workers in which the telecom sector has ineffective planning due to which the company has to suffer from the problem related to attraction and retention of the workers. When the planning is not there then it creates difficulties for the employees to give their best towards the organizational activities (Connell, Nankervis & Burgess, 2015).So, it can be said that it is major problem that is faced by organizations in relation to the retaining the workers. The management faces the issue in retaining the employees only due to ineffective planning considered by the company. Therefore, the lack of satisfaction creates challenge for the management in retaining and attracting the employees. It is analyzed that that the challenge relates to leadership issues that organization faces on the international platform. Talent management, pay and rewards are the major problems that are entertained in the telecom sector and it is seen that this issue affect the motivation level of the workers.
