1ATTRIBUTES OF PROJECT MANAGER Personal traits important for the project managers for compilation of the project: The traits of the project managers are needed to be specific so that the compilation of the project can be done in a proper way. In this context, a brief description of the project can be given and the contribution of the manager for managing the project can be discussed in a proper way. The project is about the development of the online ticket booking software. At the initial stage of the development, the requirements from the user side was not clear. It is duty of project manager to understand the requirements from the clients (Ghosh et al.,2012). After that the project manager let the other team members to understand the requirements of project. Apart from that during development of a project, project manager allows proper flow of communication in the team (Müller & Turner, 2010). This flow has helped the team members to discuss about the progress of the project. Apart from that the problems during the development of the project were solved easily for most of time due to the brainstorming process. Another attribute of the project manager that has been noticed from the compilation of this project is that the project manager can motivate the employees or the team members to collaboratively achieve the aim or goal of the team. Apart from that project manager from thissoftwaredevelopmentprojectwasknowledgeableenoughforunderstandingthe functionalities of project. Understanding the functionalities of the project, helped the project manager to assign different modules to the different team members. Apart from that a perspective of the project manager needs to be positive so that he or she can take the right decision during the critical condition. During the development of the online ticket booking system, project manager understood all the functionalities and the requirements of the project (Lloyd-Walker & Walker, 2011). Apart from that the positive

The manager of project has to take the update about the progress of the project. In order to get the daily update regarding project, the project manager should do the daily meetings with the other team members. Apart from that the leadership quality of the manager plays an important role for determining the right outcome of the project. In case, if the leadership attribute of the project manager does not value opinions of team members, it may seem to members of the team that they are not involved in the development of the project (Nauman,Khan & Ehsan, 2010). During the development of the online ticket booking system, the leadership quality of the project manager was transformative leadership which gave the team members to express their opinion regarding the development of the project. Another attribute of project manager is the leadership style. The positive style of leadershipwillhelptheteammembersintheteamtoparticipatepositivelyinthe development of the project. In this context, the transformational leadership can be effective. In the transformational leadership the opinions of the other team members are taken while making a decision for the organization.
