INTRODUCTIONIn consideration of health and security there must be regular inspections over theproducts, instruments and equipments which are to be in use. The public health (infection controlfor personal appearance services) act 2003 describes the various methods to prevent and getsecured from the infections.Parts of the public healthPublic health Act 2003 acquires all personal appearance service operations like beautytherapy, tattooing, body piercing and hairdressing (Gilmartin, 2011). Acupuncture is notincluded in it as the main motive of this act to control infections over this appearance practices.There are two categories in practice which are as follows:Higher risk: The higher risks relates with that kind of skin penetration process where theexcessive blood or fluid came out which creates life threatening to any individuals are like tattooor making designs, cutting a skin, implanting unnatural or natural things in skin and the bodypiercing apart from nose of ear (Mayhall, 2012). Thus, this kind of the businesses must haveacquired the licenses for these practices. The license should be passed under the consideration ofthis act. The document must consist of the following requirements:Copy or the original license must be framed and displayed at the premises so it can bevisible to all individuals who visits.There must be a copy or document kept in the premises related with infection controlguidelines.Mobile or non mobile premises must complies with part 5.0 (Mp 5.2- Higher riskpersonal appearance services).Equipments at each premises must be in good condition and in operational order.Non- higher risk: The non higher risk relates with such personal appearance servicesincludes hairdressing, beauty therapy and etc. These kinds of appearance practices usually do notrequired licenses (Nee and Sani, 2011). This kind of business must consists of knowledge ofusing precautions to minimise risks of infections to their consumers. If the business involvestattoo or piercing practices in premises than there is essential requirements of license.1
