i) Where are we now?
The research by Adams et al. (2017) focused on identifying the receptanility nad adoption
of the high speed broadband services in the context of the Australian markets. In this
connection, the preliminary literature review developed by the reaerschers aimed at idealizing
the different characteristics of the target population towards adoption of new technologioes. It
has been observed that the researchers took the initiative of implementing the reasoned action
theory with the purpose of identifying the intent of the different individuals in adopting the high
speed broadband services. The implementation of the reasoned action theory in the context of the
research assisted in culminating into different factors that influenced adoption of the high speed
internet services in the Australian markets.
Moreover, the researchers also mae use of the TAM (Technology Adoption Model) with
the purpose of improving the cognition on the different factor influencers in the adoption
procedure of the technology by the Australian households. The empirical study that was
conducted by the researchers, in this scenario, contributed to the recognition process of the
different factor conditions that influenced the adoption process among the Australian households.
Therefore, the research in this stage aimed at identifying the critical factors and influencers for
the technological adoption among the Australian households.
