Authentic Leadership and Organizational Response to Crisis

This presentation discusses the major issues faced by organizations during the COVID-19 crisis and how authentic leadership and organizational models such as path goal theory and democratic model can be utilized to manage the crisis effectively. The path goal theory model is being utilized for the specific situation and in democratic model leaders are highly innovative and encourage employees. The recommendations provided are aligned with enhancing the working procedure, boosting productivity, and ensuring business continuity.

AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP
Organizations has assured effective
response towards the crisis within
making effective interaction with the
suppliers for managing the logistics.
The sustainability of the organization
has been maintained in efficient manner
within focusing over the colleagues,
customer and the business continuity,
supply & demand and balance sheet
resilience.
Issue and factors- The major issues that
has been faced by organization was
entitled with the fall in demand, disrupted
in the supply chain and employment
issues. These issues have created the
numerous hurdles that has affected the
productivity of the organization.
Models- The several model of the
leadership that has been proven effective
for managing the COVID impacts are-
path goal theory, directive leadership
style, supportive leadership, participative
leadership, achievement oriented and
democratic theory or model.
Path goal theory model is being
utilized for the specific situation and
in democratic model leaders are
highly innovative and encourage
employees. Thus, both the model
enhances the working procedure in
organization within boosting
employees.
Recommendations- The major
recommendations are aligned with
planning the effective strategies
that can lead to solve the
