INTRODUCTION
Leadership can be define as that function in organisational which is related to
performance of business objectives and achieving business function in accordance with needs of
business firm (Chaudhary and Panda, 2018). This is also identified that there are number of
function which are performed by leader in order to maintain working environment and achieve
business objectives. In contextual of current business environment, all business enterprises are
facing difficulties in there functioning due to changes in business function and leads to improper
functions. All business units are suffering from impact of COVID-19. Under this report, there is
discussion about that function which is related to impact of this pandemic on performance of
organization. This also includes “what are the leadership lessons that we can learn from the
current Covid-19 crisis”. This report is based in study of amazon. It is American multinational
firm which is performing its function in business environment.

Leadership can be define that function which is related to performing number of function
which is related to performing function in order to guide other employees of that firm can
achieve business objectives and manage function accordance with current requirement.
Leadership can be define as that function which is related guiding, motivating and using
employees according to needs and function where manger can perform function and achieve
business objectives by linking personal objectives of employees (Covelli and Mason, 2017). This
is related to all those function which has to be performed by leader in order to guide and
motivate all this employee which are working in organisation. In context of current business
function this is also identfed that there are number of leadership styles which can be applied by
leader ion order to achieve business objectives.
In context of current business, Covid-19 impacted negativity on organisation function
which also impacted on performance as well as function of firm. This is virus was stated in year
2019 from Wuhan, china. It has number of adverse impact on business function and leads to
closure of business operations in number of nations. This virus impacted adversely on life style
of UK as well as business units. This is also seen that there are lager number of deaths and
casualties which are related to impact of this virus in UK. In context to present time, this also
leads to achieves ion style of leadership as well as thinking of leader. This is also related to

perforce of firm operation this is because there are number of function which is directly impacted
from the impact of virus (Avolio, Wernsing and Gardner, 2018). This is because due to this virus
there is mass lock-down which resulted in changes within operation. This is also related to
performance of operation and use these function in accordance with needs requirement. In
context of present time, this also impacted on function of business organisation and also needs to
changes these function. Amazon is operating its function in global market where there is number
of impact of current function which and to be use in order to achieve business objectives. Jeff
Bozos is current CEO of Amazon. He is leading organisation in this current time. This is related
to firm using these function which can because to achieve business objectives on this current
period.
There are different kind of function which is related to achieving business objectives and
performing function in appropriate way. This is intentioned that there are number of theories
which are used in that function which can be used to achieve business objectives and managing
leadership in this time. This is because, due to changes which are faced by firm in covid-19 there
are changes in government polices as well as different function which has to be use in
accordance with needs of current time (Alilyyani, Wong and Cummings, 2018). In this manager
and leader has to use these function which can make them favourable to environment and using
these function according to needs. This, there are number of models such as transformational
leadership and all which are used by leader in order to achieve business objectives. Some of that
leadership theory which has to be use by organization to achieve business objectives is discussed
below:
Democratic leadership theory: this can be defined as that leadership theory which is
related to performance of business function and leading different individual in organization in
accordance with business objectives. This is that function where manager in firm-use to take
advantage of employee where manager has to perform all those function in effective way. This
helps firm in managing function advertising thee function according to needs so that firm can
perform activates and use function in accordance with current environment. In relation to current
business environment, this is identification that there are number of function which is related to
business function where manager can use targets function in order to achieve business objectives.
This helps manager in using function and manager (Alvesson and Einola, 2019). This is helps in
