The main reason for this design is to makethe user
experience easy by effectively utilizing the small
screen. Since it is an app, the required steps were
keenly organized and put in place to ensure the
given needs of the users have been met throughout
the whole project .
Based on Paul Rand, designing is way more than
just assembling, editing or ordering, it involves
adding value and also meaning inorder to simplify,
modify, dramatize, amuze and also persuade. Being
clear is one of the things to Keep in mind so that the
user knows exactly what to do and where they will
be directed when they click button or link.
Usefulness of the application is key. It should satisfy
the needs of user in terms of their expections of
what they want the application to do.Incorperating
features like well placed calender that will remind
them of the parties they intend to attend. Having all

the needed information of the party they wish to
attend and being able to communicate with the host
and other attendies.
Making it possible for users to create parties is
fundamental.
Do more with Less as stated by Kaufman was the
guiding principal . With the target audience in mind
who are majorly the youth who are conversant in
English. Use of menu, visuals in order to attract
their attentions.
Maing the design understandable to the user will
make it easy to use . The design should talk and be
self explanatory. Use of buttons to make it
interactive and the style suits the expections of the
youth. Use visuals such as icons and images. Use
of common elements will give the user a
comfortable feeling thus they are able to easily do
things like updating profile details, register, add a
party quickly.
CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK
The Lets Party application is destined to bring
family and friends together. Trying to create an
event for friends and family and at the same time
finding cool suggestions for the venue has resulted
in an opportunity to conceptualize a mobile
application with simple interface. Next steps include
producing a low-fidelity design concept with a
design rationale and a working model of the
application that can be presented and evaluated.
