Executive Summary
The aim of the paper is to have a clear perspective about the System Development Life Cycle
and the Agile Methodology in the Information System Project. The given case study is about the
development of a Backup Controller System that would have all the functionalities to backup and
store data of clients in a cloud based server. The paper summarizes about the implementation of
the development cycle to build this controller system and explains the functionality of the agile
model in the development of the system. The core process activities are discussed in reference to
the system development life cycle. Event Tables, Use Case diagrams, Domain Model Class
diagrams and Design Class Diagrams are designed in the later section of the paper to understand
the process of the system better.
