1BACKUP AND DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN Discussion and evaluation of the conflicting results In this particular discussion section, the researcher discusses the results which are generated from the research study and related to the research presented into the literature review and research methodology. The researcher introduced precise definitions of two terms such as quantitative and qualitative and explains where these two data techniques fit into the definition and the selected research topic. Using the qualitative data technique, the data recovery plan ensues that right data is needed by the critical business processes and required for recovery is being identified and available into suitable recovery timeframe (Chang, 2015). Qualitative research method is suitable for interpret as well as understand the concept. It has flexibility regarding the process that is investigated. This research method is valuable for understanding the complexity related to human behavior as well as relationship. Using the quantitative data technique, the research is conducted so as to do recovery and backup plans which are reviewed properly. It is the numerical analysis of the collected data throughout survey and manipulating them into statistical data. The qualitative research method is chosen for this study as this method is tried to interpret the phenomenon as well as understand concept under this research. Development of disaster recovery plan in organization is used to analyze challenges which are faced in IT organization. There are various challenges with development of cloud technologies into disaster plan. The disaster recovery plan is being created with business continuity plan. Cloud technologies are used to restore the applications, hardware and data for meeting with the business recovery needs.
2BACKUP AND DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN Discussion of the unexpected findings when using secondary data analysis The main aim of this research is to explore the challenges and solutions related to development of backup and disaster recovery plan into the organizations. When use of the secondary data, it is unexpected to get data on the organizations which realize importance to develop of contingency plan such as disaster recovery plan to protect the IT services in addition to critical business operations (Ghannam, 2017). The disaster recovery plan is designed to make sure that continuation of the vital business processes within event that the disaster occurs. The successful disaster recovery strategy is to plan, develop, test and implement the disaster recovery management procedures as well as processes for ensuring effective resumption of the vital business processes (Sengupta & Annervaz, 2014). The problems into the recovery plan is discussed in this paper based on adoption of the cloud computing. The cloud disaster recovery plan ranges from the file backup into the cloud for completion of replication. The plan should address the security that is the most common issue into the cloud. Findings on research questions, address the hypotheses or propositions focus on secondary data analysis It is required to understand the research question such as: “how is the backup and disaster recovery plan implemented, how to fix the problems of disaster recovery and backup and how use of cloud technologies help to overcome with the identified problems, what are the challenges”.The disaster recovery plan is implemented with development of backup strategies that identify what the data are required to backup, selection and implementation of hardware into the software backup processes. The problems into the backup and disaster recovery plan are that the current plan of the organization includes of unnecessary technology, improper maintenance and lack of support from top management. Most of the organizational backup plan is outdated as
3BACKUP AND DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN they are not used of proper cloud based technology (Khoshkholghi et al., 2014). The participants mentioned the difficulties for keeping their plan accurate as well as up-to-date as the plan requires reflecting the changes into IT infrastructure as well as business functions. The support from the top management remains a greatest challenge for implementation of IT disaster recovery plan as it is described by the participants into the study. The participants describe gaps to convenience the top management to develop the proposed plan (Gardner, 2016). Most of the managers are not realize the importance of the plan to keep the business operations conducting properly. As stated by the participants, the manger should know impact of the business processes in case the disaster is occurred along with the organization has no such plan to handle it.There is a requirement of backup and disaster recovery plan to identify the data on network servers, laptop computer to the wireless devices that are needed to backup with the records of hard copy. The plan helps to schedule backup from wireless devices towards the network servers. Backup data into digital form permits to keep data secured. The problems are fixed by carrying out smaller backups which help to streamline the information business organization, scheduling of backup as well as management. There should be employ of scalable technology which can expand the requirements of business. One of the best solutions to the backup challenges is the use of cloud technologies (Sahebjamnia, Torabi, & Mansouri, 2015). The IT professionals are chosen automated recovery approach which addresses the requirement to recover the data into real time. Cloud based disaster recovery solution is gaining popularity as the IT professionals can identify this as most affordable options for the businesses of different sizes. Backup and disaster recovery is always a challenge into the organization. It is a painful challenge for the small-to-midsize businesses. Due to lack of management support, lack of

4BACKUP AND DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN maintenance along with outdated use of technology make it critical for the business to manage the backup. Managing of backup is offered as a cloud based solution (Phillips, 2015). Cloud disaster recovery is backup as well as restores strategy which consists to store and maintain the copies of the electronic records into the cloud computing as the security measures. The goal of the cloud technologies is to recover the data in addition to implement failover into the event of both manmade and natural disasters. Implication of the findings The purpose of this research study is to identify the challenges into backup and disaster recovery plan along with the cloud technologies solutions which are required to overcome with the challenges. It is analyzed that in order to use a proper maintained disaster recovery plan, all the data are to be kept backup into the organizational database system. The purpose of this plan is to identify as well as document the task plan as well as procedures to implement into the disaster recovery environment. The plan is tested to make sure that the business has capability to continue with the critical business processes within the event of the disaster (Horney et al., 2016). A backup schedule is prepared to store all the confidential data. In most of the organizations, the critical asset is the data. Implementation of data backup along with recovery system makes sure of protecting the data. Documentation of the plan is also created which consists of contact details of vendors and other personnel.
