Introduction
The Baldrige process provides a series of vital aspects that focus on the effective
governance of organizational progress and development. It is a crucial part of the United
States organizational excellence strategy that is overseen by the government of the country
(Goetsch & Davis, 2014). The organizations that can efficiently implement the framework are
rewarded by the government.
Reflections on the Baldridge process
According to me government backed organizational frameworks often become
effective platforms for organizational progress that can go hand in hand with the economic
development of a country. I strongly believe that the effectiveness of an organization depends
greatly on the quality oriented functions of the particular organization. Quality is an
important parameter to evaluate and assess properly the organizational effectiveness of any
business (Bailey, 2015). The maintenance of quality is not only important towards providing
the best possible services to the customers but it is far more important in terms of maintaining
strong levels of organizational standards. Hence, the aspects of organizational performance
identified through the Baldrige process are focused primarily towards developing the quality
factors of organizations (Rusev & Salonitis, 2016). The core values of the Baldrige process
are based on identified factors that can lead organizations towards performance excellence.
The aspects are system based perspectives, visionary leadership, people value, success
focused approach, organizational agility, learning environment, innovation, factual
management, customer centric approach and social responsibility.
Generally, the Baldrige principles focus on keeping the customers at the center of
organization planning, functions and implementation. The principles right from leadership to

result oriented behaviours focus on serving the customers in better ways. The various
organizational issues that affect the functioning of the various enterprises across the world
often tend to govern the ways in which organizations develop management tactic (Leonard,
2017). The issues range from infrastructural problems, management problems, employee
performance levels, functional problems and other major issues that affect overall
organizational productivity. The generally identified issues can be effectively tackled through
the implementation of better learning processes concerning both the organizational and
personal learning requirements. Since, learning is a constant process it is important to
develop effective learning techniques for organizational feasibility (Van der Voet, 2014).
Learning should be made an important part of organizational culture. Learning processes can
be optimized by the management but it is ultimately up to the employees to develop essential
learning oriented behaviours. More emphasis should be given towards the dissemination and
subsequent application of practical knowledge across the organizational framework. It is
much important that all the essential aspects of the Baldrige process are integrated in order to
strive towards becoming an optimally performing organization. Quality is an aspect that can
be effectively approached through the development of an analytical mind in the personal
level (Cameron & Green, 2015). Only through better personal mindset can employees
achieve better results for themselves and the organization. Thus, it becomes important to
integrate organizational approaches with personal approaches.
Conclusion
In all, it can be said that the baldrige process identifies a lot of elements that can lead
to organizational success. The diverse aspects that are emphasized through the Baldrige
principles help to understand the vast operating area of organizations. It is necessary that the

all the aspects are enhanced through effective leadership, management and coordination for
the achievement for crucial organizational goals.
