The assignment provided below has been constructed keeping in mind the requirements and
necessities of the process of project development. In order to complete this assignment, the
author has used various tools and techniques which can aid him in the development of the system
as well as the report. Bandcam.com is a music company which has various affiliations with
artists and TV stars. It has been found that the profit figures of the company have reached its
breakeven point and now the profit figures have started reducing. It is not the high time for the
manager of the company to take essential and necessary steps such that the profits and revenue
streams of the organization can be boosted in an effective and efficient manner. The
development and construction of the project will help the reader to gain the insights on IT project

Background of the project:
The project that would be discussed in this business report is being developed by Bandcamp.com
which is one of the emerging companies in the music sector. The company allows the artists to
easily get joined with the portal and upload their songs and albums which would be made
available to the general public on an open basis. It has been also found that the company is now
facing various issues due to which it is now important for the organization to develop their
systems such that the users might be able to get their experiences enhanced. In order to increase
profits, there are two projects that have been shortlisted by Bandcamp.com. These projects are:
Extensive social media integration
Country Specific Services
Selected Project
The project that has been agreed to and will help the company to effectively increase their profits
is the social media integration which will use the technology of Big Data Analytics. The title of
the project would be “Bandcamp Social Media Integration” (Ngai et. al., 2015).
Project Objectives
Help consumer find music of their taste;
Indulge more artists;
Increase consumer database.
Project Deliverables: The deliverables of the project are inclusive of cost sheet, expense sheets,
Gantt and WBS etc. From the user's point of view, the deliverables would include a developed
platform and system that would allow them to enhance their music experience over the website
(Eskerod & Jepsen, 2016).
In order to complete the project in an effective and efficient manner, the project manager of the
company has divided the tasks of the project in three phases of development. The segregation of

Thus from the management report provided above it can be concluded that it is important for the
project manager of the company to ensure that the timely completion of project is ensured. It is
also important to pay emphasis on the resources that are being used in order to complete the
project. A critically planned and evaluated project can help an organisation to effectively and
efficiently achieve its objectives and solve the issues that are being faced in the industry. In order
to do so, the project manager of the company can make use of effective tools and techniques that
