INTRODUCTION
The concept of the analysis of the business and the economic environment refers to the
external scrutiny of the factors that influences the market poisoning and the functioning of the
organization. The habits of the business environment can adversely affect the performances of a
company. These elements are most of the times, out of the control of a company and certain
prevention must be accumulate to take care of the uncertain situation that can arise in the coming
future (Alam and Grose, 2022). This report deals with the explication of Barclays bank, which is
a multinational bank with its original roots being of the UK. The organizational structure of
Barclays will be explained in the study along with its nature as a developing business
organization. The analysis through the utilization of STEEPLE as a model to examine the macro-
economic environment. The challenges that can arise in the future due to the external forces will
further be explained.

UK and Barclays International which is intensively supported by the service company known as
the Barclays Execution Services.
