INTRODUCTION
Business communication can be refer as the process of sharing ideas or information between
people between employees or outside organisation. it is essential that communication practices
are significantly performed with the motive of attaining desired goals as well as enhancing
performance. Barriers of communication can be describe as the issues which occurs while
transferring message form one person to others. it is critical that correct strategies are developed
in order to enhance communication activities in proper manner. This report includes theories of
organisational communication (Raposo and Gonçalves, 2021). It consist of various barriers of
communication that affect passing of information. Apart from these different strategies of
reducing challenges of communication barriers has been determined in this report.
MAIN BODY
Discuss some general theories of organisational communication.
Organisational communication theories are developed with the motive of providing
accurate guidance and direction to other for successfully conducting communication activities as
well as influencing overall performance of business. This is consider as very important and
crucial part of business which will lead to significantly influence communication process in
organisation as well as affect its function. It has been analysed that through the support of
organisational communication theory proper follow of communication could be performed with
in organisation and influence overall functioning. There are different theories of organisational
communication which is mention below in detail –
Weber’s classic organisational theory -
Max Weber is one of the widely respected theorist of management who has developed
theory of management communication in order to provide guidance to companies for smoothly
conduct communication practices. This theory of organisational communication is consider as
the theory of fixed structure. According to this theory of organisational communication it has
been analysed that there should be proper and clear structure of business. This includes properly
defined roles and responsibilities so that communication practices could be performed through
