INTRODUCTION Behavioural management introduces to the effective method of behavioural modifications that emphasis on maintaining order (Donos and et. al., 2021). It is less severe than organised behaviour alteration and is emphasised on shaping as well as maintaining positive or favourable behaviours while discouraging negative behaviours (Tanay and et. al., 2021). The purpose and motive of the behavioural management is a series of phases taken toassistance guide individuals to become satisfied in order to change their actions along with the interactions. There are various types of effective behaviour management strategies that helps in improving the understanding about the movie (Tyack, 2019). The essay is based on the Dangerous minds. MAIN BODY The plot of the B-movie is that Louanne Johnson who was former marine has applied for teaching job in high school and was quite surprised to be provided the applied position with instant effect (Beiner, 2018). Next day, this person shows up for teaching but she finds a classroom with tough and sullen teenagers. They all belong from backgrounds which have low- income, included in drug pushing, gang warfare and refusing to connect or engage (Vogel, 2019). These teenagers have provided the nickname to the teacher which is White Bread. This name was given to Louanne on the basis of appearance which showed lack of authority. To this Louanne responded by wearing leather jacket and appeared next day to teach them karate (Smith, 2019). All these teenagers have shown some interest in all these extracurricular activities however they refused when Louanne tried to teach them that particular activity (Yack, 2018). The teacher Louanne was keen to teach this to students so she devised classroom exercises and activities for the same prescribed work. She tried to encourage them by giving high grades to all these students in the commencement of the year (Johnson and Vines, 2018). The film dangerous minds isa film about perseverance of a teacher in achieving their objective of providing students the bet leaning environment and helping them become better students and humans. The protagonist of the film is a former marine officer, Louanne Johnson who applies for teaching job in high school in order to put her marine practice to good use and help high school students learn while also getting a respectable job to earn a living. Many films in the history of cinema have touches on the concept of teaching and can be observed by individuals to understand teaching strategies. In case of the move dangerous minds the company, 1
the main protagonist is faced with challenge of providing rebellious students teaching and learning services so that they are able to grow out of the rebellious mind-set and make something of themselves. Louanne Johnsonfaces backlash from students as they make up a nickname for their new teacher mocking her which is celled “White Bread” This characteristic nickname is based on the racial difference between most of the students at the high school and their new teacher Louanne Johnson. This act of the film showcases the role that diversity and differences between cultural and racial backgrounds of individuals who are given the teaching responsibilities and the students. It is important to create a healthy environment in the classroom where students are able to open up to the teacher despite the racial or cultural differences and support high quality education(Aji and Budiyono, 2018). This is related to the concept of inclusive teaching because inclusive teaching focuses on celebrating cultural diversity and differences between students. The teaching sequestrates used by Louanne Johnson to interact with students positively involve conducting classroom exercises which help the student learn about smaller life principles and understand concepts through the language which appeals to them. The difference between teachers and students can be eliminated by using common language(Pherson-Geyser, de Villiers and Kavai, 2020). This is an effective strategy as it helps create a common pathway through teachers and students are able to interact positively. Louanne Johnson utilizes similar creative teaching approaches to open up students minds towards poetry. The protagonist uses the lyrics of the popular song Tambourine Man so that students are able to learn about metaphors and symbolism. This is an effective strategy because it links the subjects of the students an already popular concept which is understood by the students. It is important that teachers are able to link the lessons of various subject to concepts and areas which arealreadyfamiliarandlikedbythestudents.Thisincreasesstudentyengagementand interaction with the teaching material and are able to develop better understand of the learning material. It is important to create a familiar environment for students in which they are able to prosper and take active part in building their knowledge. In addition to this another strategy adopted by Louanne Johnson for engaging with students is by providing them rewards for their good efforts to making personal as well as educational development.This is an effective strategy for facilitating better participation from students because they are motivated towards improving their educational achievements in order 2

A– This part of the framework is concerned with active learning where students are encouraged to participate in their study in a holistic manner and there are specific systems in place which make the engagement process much less boring. Louaane also used some aspects of this approach while dealing with students as she made learning more personal and fun for the students which was a major reason behind her popularity. By promoting active learning in the classroom, students pay attention for longer period of time and they are made to feel important in the overall curriculum that is taking place. The ATRiUM framework firstly establishes a learning environment where the process of studying is not approached by students as a chore and this can only happen when teaching is entertaining(Landa, Frampton and Shillingsburg, 2020). T– This part of the framework is related to developing the thought process of students and making sure that they are actively learning to solve problems related to complex real world scenarios which helps in making them develop a comprehensive world view. In the movie, dangerous minds also there was an active effort by the main character to make sure that the students in her classroom were all diligent thinkers who respected each other and there was no major discrimination between them regardless of their ability to read and write. The main character also tried her level best to get rid of evil thoughts from her students such as those related to gang warfare. R– This part of the framework related to the students developing an ethical mindset and also undergoing self introspection so that they can make themselves a better and more improved person by opening themselves to others emotionally while also understanding others on an 3
emotional level to understand their struggles. In the movie, Louaane practised this framework as one of the main strategies to help her troubled students as one of them was very emotionally reserved and involved in gang warfare's and street crimes which is something that has to death mentally. By successfully teaching students, empathy, quality learning can take place without major disruptions. U– A major part of this framework is related to the use of technology that a teacher installs in their classroom to impart a better and more precise learning experience to their students in a much more organized manner. A major part of the modern day teaching method which the ATRiUM model seeks to integrate is use of language, symbols and ICT solutions to help engage students in a much more attractive manner(Pardaboyevich, Abdunazirovich and Saydullayevich, 2020). M– This is one of the most needed elements of the framework as it relates to the power of authority and the ability to maintain discipline and control inner impulses while teaching a group of students. It is very important for a teacher to make sure that their children obey their learning commands in the classroom and in the movie, dangerous minds Louaane did the same in her initial teaching days but when she realized that some of her students were fighting personal demons, she changed her strategy to engage them in a much more empathetical manner. 4
CONCLUSION From the above mentioned essay, it has been concluded that Dangerous minds is a movie.For introducing the poetry, the lyrics of Bob Dylan's Mr. Tambourine Man is used by Louanne in order to teach metaphor and symbolism. Louanne is also rewarding students liberally by rewarding incentive, using candy bars and organising trip to theme park. She is also using method to draw the attention of school authorities. There were two people who tried her to remain within the curriculum they were Carla Nicholas and George Grandey. There were few students who have attracted Louanne's interest. One of the boy who is involved in street crime and gang warfare is Raul Sanchero. Louanne is encouraging Raul Sanchero to visit to his family and go for the dinner in order to instil self-respect and confidence. Emilio Ramirez once told to Louanne about the danger he will be faced due to personal grudge. Later, Louanne announces that she will leave the school. 5
