INTRODUCTION
Psychosocial health is comprised of four key components, that involve emotional, mental.
spiritual and Social health. In health, psychosocial means well being associated with sexual,
mental, physical and mental health. As an outcome, psychosocial is a very complex interaction
between human beings and their medical history. A core meaning of the psychosocial
development is, it is the process of development of human beings and they are going to develop.
As per the various theory as Erickson's theory, the elderly people were more vulnerable at the
time of Covid pandemic. Because in elderly people consequences of Covid-19 show negative
psychosocial impact due the social distancing measures, and isolation condition, they feel
traumatization, general distress, depression and anxiety. Social distancing, social isolation,
loneliness and social disconnectedness were found to be responsible for the anxiety and
depression in the older age people. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, older people have
functional limitation because of the limitation of the activities to them. Therefore, at this time
they feel socially disconnected and self isolated. Which shows very bad impact on the mental
health of adult people. Due to these Covid – 19, pace of depression and anxiety enhanced in the
elder people. In the COVID -19 pandemic, elder people have to face more mortality rate and
more prone to infection as compare to the young age people. During the COVID – 19 crisis
situation, many senior human beings also suffer from the some sleep disorder, also experiences
confusion or cognitive deterioration as a result of surgical interventions and physical disorders.
Social isolation and social distance
In the world of contemporary, the modernity in the way of health has too modified and
altered. There are various studies that displays that the perceived social isolation and distancing
is a vital component in leading a healthy life. Apart from this, the health related quality life at the
time of Covid- 19 pandemic learn Us the correct way of living a life style which is healthy. Long
time social distancing is entirely not just to the older people but this is vital to all the age groups
human being. Additionally, there are young adults who appear to suffer more from the crisis as
they were managing the pressure of being apart or isolated from their loved ones at times. Indeed
there are some belief of business and government and higher magnitude of utilisation of
substances as a copping manner. Social distancing and social isolating is associated to unhealthy
