Communication is one of the most important aspect that plays a role in better establish of
relationships. Communication finds its importance in both professional and personal
relationships. Importance of Effective communication in a business organization helps in better
commencement of the basic functioning that are present in better planning of the project.
Communication is stated as the foundation base of the planning. Communication in between the
employees of the organization acts as a major reason of motivating that increases the efficiency
of the functioning of the project that is being performed by the business organization. This essay
will discuss about the role of communication that will affect the professional and personal
relationship. This essay will also discuss about the listening and talking styles that affects the
functioning of the business functioning. This essay will also discuss about the barriers that are
present in the communication of different employees and personnel.
Role of communication in professional and personal relationship
The main role of communication in the workplace includes the fact that the researcher

who are poor in communication the main disadvantage that they face is that they cannot
approach people (Macht & Nembhard 2015). This affects the functioning of the entire scenario.
This affects them in relationship building in a negative manner. Developing of a successful
business unit tends to get improved with the help of better communication. Understanding the
needs of the family members are done can be performed in a better manner in case a proper
communication process is developed in between the family members. Having good
communication skills increases the power to empathies. Hence understanding of the issues that
are present gets easy (Kristensson, Behrns & Saldert 2015). This is one of the major reason that
better communication acts helpful in the leading a healthy and happy life.
Types of listening and speaking and their impacts
The different types of listening includes evaluative listening, Sympathetic listening and
empathetic listening. With the help of the evaluative learning the main impact that will be

With the help of the proper understanding of the emotion in which the speaker is speaking, the

Being a good speaker will help in gaining more opportunities than a person who is not

passive talking style. With the help of the aggressive talking, getting job done can be easier in
nature. This type of talking styles are adapted by the managers of the firm. With the help of
submissive speaking, the speaker can easily please the other speakers (Beck 2016). This type is
more of an apologetic process. Manipulative talking is one of the best way to communicate with
other in order to get their work done. With the help of the manipulative talking getting others to
buy their scheme gets easy. This type of talking is generally adapted by the sales man and
Insurance providers.

process is also required. Language barrier has been a barrier in communication as in this case the

allotted to public places, barrier in communication due to language will be mitigated. Perceptual

The main issue present in this case is that the way of thinking of different employees will be
different and hence the output that will be gained as per the strategies of different employees will
be effecting the project completion. The sole way to reduce this issue includes proper defining of
