This present research proposal will evaluate the impact of digital technology on theprofitability of the company by using various techniques and methods. Companyis providing services for last 25 years and not firm has raised the scale of business with over 500vehicles. Panther Taxis are a familiar sight on Cambridge Roads. They also provide wedding carservices and cars available for all special occasions and functions (About Panther Taxis, 2018).Panther Taxis is known for its outstanding customer services and in Cambridge, they are the onlytaxi company who offers customers an unrivalled pick time of 10 minutes within the city ofCambridge and annexed villages. Digital technology is very vast topic as it covers many other advance techniques suchas internet, social media, smart phones etc. these are the technologies which are most popularand it is used by more than 85 percent of UK population (Chaffey, 2015). These technologies are providing positive impact on thebusiness especially taxi company as there are outstanding benefits through internet, social mediaas drivers and passengers can get by using taxi applications. Rationale:The reason behind selection the research topic is give an insight over the impact of digitaltechnology on the profitability of the taxi company which is chosen as Panther Taxis.
