The sports in society holds a major place for an individual which improves the cardiovascular health by regular exercising. The social benefits include the participation with opportunities to learn about teamwork. It is seen that the sports activities are generally played by certain rules and then overcoming the adversity which will help the youth to learn about the different qualities with good sportsmanship and the personal responsibility. There is a management of time and proper organization of the skills, which is important for achieving the athletic and academic success (Trexler et al., 2015). The benefits are transferred to the different situations, which provides social skills and help the individual in the real world. The social and cultural impact has a major influence on the sports education which includes the improved attainment, with lower absenteeism and increased progression with higher education. The sports activities could be related to employment to engage the disaffected pupils and improve the academic performance with commitment to continue education. The evidence for the positive and casual relationship is between participation of sport and improving academic performance which is inconclusive (Weber, Müller-Stromberg,& Weber, 2017). The important is in the lives of young people as well as the outcome of their doing will depend on the nature and the quality of the learning environment. The mechanisms which are underpinning the relationship includes the increased energy that is derived from the fitness, productive diversions that are resulting from time, away from classroom. The sports in society helps in not only improving the self-esteem but engaging oneself with the people and be involved in interacting with others efficiently.
