 This technology is characterized by three important
features called 3Vs or volume, variety and velocity
(Ketter et al., 2015).
 The data set is easily measured by this technology
and thus several advantages are gained.

DESCRIBING BIG DATA FEATURES
 The first V can be referred to the extreme data volume
that is being measured for the data size in any specific
organization.
 The next V is the broad or wide variety of few types of
data for understanding several varieties and hence
dealing with complexity of data management.
 The final V is the velocity, which refers to significant
velocity, at which data are being processed.

 Big data is one of the major and the most effective
technologies used for predictive analytics and hence
ensuring privacy is maintained.
 It helps to deal with all types of complexities that are
being spotted in business or organization (Crawford,
2013).
 Business informatics also gain major advantages from
larger data sets and big data.
