Homeostasis and its Feedback System
The regulation in the temperature of the internal part of the body in contrast to the
environment is known as homeostasis. The neutralization of an impact on the method gives
rise to high level of the chosen exudation in blood that may hinder the reaction to any action
called negative feedback system. This system helps in maintaining as well as regulating that
normal span of the temperature of the human body. Human body is comprised of several
functions, every organism and metabolic reactions require some level of body temperature to
implement its function. So, it is essential to have warm blood in body to maintain constant
temperature. Besides this, cells in human body also demand an accurate body temperature
level for performing their cellular function. The main elements of homeostasis feedback
system are receptors, control centers, and effectors. Receptors are present in entire skin of
body. In a negative feedback system, skin performs key role as it gets comprised in
thermoregulation as a sensor and effectors. Besides this, the mind of a human is comprised of
the hypothalamus which works for thermoregulation as the control center in the body. In the
thermoregulation body, skin works as sensor which gets inform about the stimulus as there is
a change in body temperature. After this, receptors gather information and transfer it to
control center which works in maintaining the temperature of the body that is the
hypothalamus. In continuation to this, the hypothalamus accesses specific information that is
received from receptors which are then differentiated (comparison between normal
temperature of body and increased temperature of body by the control center) and in the end,
control center release or provide the severe response. An effector is said to be a cell or organ
that places that reaction that is definite by the control center. In thermoregulation body, skin
works as the effectors and control center release vasodilation and secreting sweat in order to
release heat out from the body. Hence, sweat gland and blood vessels are said to be the
effectors. On the other side, if receptors sense decreased body temperature and control center

identify it while comparing and accessing the gathered information then effectors acting on
vasoconstriction for releasing the amount of heat out from body and control normal
temperature of the body and skeleton muscles feels quivering that produce heat for warming
human body.
