INTRODUCTION
Investigation is the process which shows the progression of the activities and the steps
which helps in moving and gathering of tasks for various reasons like, information analysis,
development of theory or validations, formation of reasonable ground to believe and finally
arresting and charging the suspect (Winegar and Sunstein, 2019). Bitcoin is the worlds first
decentralized cryptocurrency which is a type of digital asset which utilizes the public key
cryptography to record, sign and send transactions. This investigation is based on a case study
which suggests that Jean an employee is involved in selling of the corporate secrets. The
investigation in this scenario has enlightened it because of the new evidence which indicates that
Jean had close relationship with manager of the company. Crucial information about the Bitcoins
owned by the company were present in the system of the manager. This investigation shows that
police found her place vacated and piece of paper in which an information which suggests a
password or code was found from her place.

activities and manager also believes that she lied to the organisation she had just left another job
before starting this one so it is also evidence which can be used by the police to get the more
information about Jean. So exhibit of Jean is showing that she has some suspicious activities and
there are high chances that she has stolen the corporate secret and sell it to some other people. So
police can deal with crypt currency and bit coins to investigate more because Jean can send this
Bit coins to the digital wallet of another person. As in many countries Bit coin has been used as
currency and Jean can send these digital wallets to another person show the overall information
and money can be sent to other person. Apart from this one of the biggest loophole in the entire
case studies that for Bit coins and crypto currencies they are no strict rules have been published
and therefore police is unable to caught her. But with the availability of evidence please skin try
to trap her and recover all the corporate secrets which she has shared with another person or
some important corporate documents which she got while she was working. Apart from this from
the entire case study it has been seen that Police should create some different floors for the floor

happened with crypt currency Bit coin because they are not so popular in many countries and if
people using this Bit coins then it is must that country should have given permission to use them.

Media forms are continuously impacting Bitcoins and the entire market of cryptocurrency
because with the help of information which is spread by media in the market it directly e put
impact on the price of Bitcoins. Whenever Media share any current news show the overall prices
of Bitcoins get fluctuated it can go up and down as well. In this case Jean is also trying to share
all the corporate secrets with the help of technology because one of the biggest failures which
have found is that lack of Technology and there are no proper laws and limitations have been
proposed that for and employee can easily share the secret of company. It is totally management
failure because Jean was getting news in the market and as per the news she was sharing
information to others (Eldefrawy and et.al 2019). Apart from this social media is continuously
impacting the block chain of Bit coins and it is providing dynamic interaction between the
monetary value of Bitcoins and different news in the market.
But due to influence of media more and more people come to know about Bit coin and this
is what happened in this case because most of the managers are well versed with the Bit coin
and crypt currency and therefore they were able to know the suspicious activities which was
happening through Jean. On the other hand due to lack of regulations and rules police is unable
to caught Jean because they were not well versed with the rules regulations of Bit coins.
Apart from this there is no financial intelligence available for Bit coins who can provide
punishment to those who misuse this and spread information which is very confidential for any
company. So it has been seen that due to improper regulations police is unable to take any action
but due to the favour of media more and more people have known about Bit coins and therefore
in many countries rules and regulations have been established for Bit coins so that if anybody get
engaged in any crime any type of crime which is related to Bit coin and crypt currency is they
can be punished. But as per this case study Jean can caught red handed when the management
shares some proofs and evidence.

After analysing the entire case study it has been seen that there are many defaults have been
happened from the side of company as well as from Jean. It has been seen that companies were
not having proper regulations and policies for employees which they have to follow apart from

this there are various technological failures have been found (Karalevicius and et.al 2018). How
can an employee sale to corporate secret of the company it means employee is misusing the
technology system computers and other software of the organisation without having any
knowledge of their management.
Besides this another Feature of management is that they have not checked the
background of Jean. It is the responsibility of the management that they must check where she
was working before and why she has left the job so background verification is very important
part of any organisation and the management of this company do not go through this process and
therefore they have to face a lot of loss due to Jean (Reynolds and et.al 2017). Another major
disadvantage is that Bit coin is totally new in the market and even financial intelligence not have
any type of experience in dealing with crypto currencies and therefore they were unable to find
out whether gene has shared corporate secrets or not? So improper Regulation and management
failure has become one of the biggest disadvantage of this entire case study and with the help of
proper evidence police can find out whether gene has committed any crime or not.
CONCLUSION
With the help of this project it can be concluded that all the evidence based on the
investigation suggests that Jean may be the culprit in the given scenario. In this project the
technical report has been provided which suggests the process of the investigation. It also
contains the documents which are necessary for investigation present in both the paper and
electronic format. The document which can be identified as the evidence is also explained. This
project also includes all other kinds of media form. Contemporaneous notes are also provided for
the investigation which shows the recollection of all the events.
