Chapter 1: INTRODUCTION
E-recruitment is defined as the use of web-based technology for hiring of competent and
skilled position within the organisation. In addition to this, it is also known as online recruitment
that help company to reach large number of potential staff members. For the present report, Blow
Ltd is taken into consideration. It is the UK’s leader in beauty and hair service which was
established in year 2013. The company offer various services such as book blow dries, nails,
lashes and other services at doorstep (de Vries, 2020). At the present time, company is focusing
on hiring talented and competent staff who will help Blow Ltd to increase its productivity and
profitability. By the assistance of this study, the company is able to analyse various human
resource online recruitment methodologies used by company for hiring of competent employees.
Importance of the topic:
In the present time, most of the companies shift from traditional methods of hiring to
online methods of recruitment. This help organisations to save time, cost and attract high talent
which leads towards increase in productivity and performance as well. In addition to this, the
process of hiring is shorten and inserting applicants information manually is not required.
Moreover, it will also assist a company to be flexible and effective as posting jobs online need
few minutes and posted on social media platforms (Bell, Kothiyal and Willmott, 2017). This
will also assist organisations to attract large number of people to apply and then select competent
employee for the position.
Rational for the research
One of the main reason to conduct this study is to the various human resource online

this, the present research also assist to know the benefits gained by an organisation for hiring of

in screening of candidates, further there is automation of online recruiting that can help in

of popularity, in context of blow ltd. The management can focus on using of advertising on
various recruitment websites as a tool for reaching wide applicants at lower cost. Job seekers can
use google for the purpose of fing various specific job at range by use of such popular
recruitment websites. There can also be advertising of vacancies on the won website of company.

approach. These two approaches are helpful in facilitating the research work it includes two
types that is inductive approach and deductive approach. In present research work deductive
approach is practical as it will help in evaluation of test by focussing on evaluation of statistical
information.
Research methodology: Research choice helps in introduction the process of collection of data
related to the subject. It facilitates researcher with having reliable, relevant and authentic
information. There are different methods as mentioned below:
It includes Mono method, Mixed method and Multi method. Mono method is used when
researcher have to make choice between qualitative and quantitative research. Mixed is used
when there is selection of both type of information and multi method is used when there is
facilitation in the process of collecting qualitative and quantitative form of information
(Alvesson and Sköldberg, 2017).
In present research work there will be selection of mono method. Quantitative research choice
will be selected because it is going to help in having statical and numerical information.
Research strategy: It is one of the significant method for collecting of information relevant to
specific topic of research. There are different methods of having specific research strategies such
as it includes case study method, experimental, survey method and action research.
Justification: In present research work there will be adoption of survey strategy in present
research survey strategy is selected to have access to inexpensive, cost effective and primary
information. There are many benefits associated with using this method as there will be a sample
drawn from the whole target segment of population which will be used for further collection of
information.
Sampling methods: sampling is the process of having specific sample which is selected from the
whole target segment of population. It is not a easy process top make complete analysis of the
whole population. So it becomes important for the investigator to select respondents as per the
need of attaining pre defined aims & objectives. There are two types of sampling methods that
includes probability samplings and non probability sampling.
Probability sampling; It is a Method that helps in selection of respondents without any specific

Non probability sampling: It is a sampling method in which there can be selection of respondents
with specific criteria and requirements. it is process that may take longer time duration as it is on
non random basis.
So, in present research report for the purpose of selection of sample from the whole population
there will be use of probability sampling method which can lead towards proper selection of
respondent that can respondent whole set of population.
Data collection methods: Data collection is regarded as the strategy that is carried by the
researcher for the purpose of collection and determination of data with respect to investigation
topic. There are two main methods of data collection that includes:
Primary data collection: It is the method that facilitates investigator in the process of collecting
first hand information. In this the information is directly selected from the chosen source.
Secondary data collection: Its is defined as the method that is focussed on collection of
information from already existing sources. In this the information is already existing and the
main emphasis of researcher in this is to address the existing gaps that are part of published data.
It includes sources such as articles, books, publication, reputed magazines and newspapers.
In present research work there will be use of both primary and secondary method of collecting
information. Primary method will be adopted to have relevant and authentic data. Secondary
method will be use to address the gaps in existing information systems.
Ways of interpreting data: Data interpenetration methods are related to the way analyst are
helping people in collection, analysis and presentation of data,.
Time prospect of research (Gantt chart):
Gantt chart is a bar chart that illustrates the project schedules. In the present research work there
will be illustration of project schedule in this there is list of tasks that are to be performed on
vertical axis and the time interval is depicted on horizontal axis. In present research work there
will be application Gantt chart as a tool for dividing the total available time period as per the
different activities that will be performed in the present research report.

present research work there will be application of some of the ethical consideration so that there

The three main aspects that are properly adhered in present researches includes protecting the
right of research participants, enhancing the validity of the research work and maintaining of
scientific integrity in long run.

From the above made analysis it can be said that online recruitment strategies have complete
transformed the ways in which there is hiring of suitable candidates. The transformation that has
taken place by shift towards online recruitment strategies is helping in the process of having
optimum utilisation of present available resources. Apart from this there is suitable and timely
hiring of Candidates as per vacancies that are arising.
