report,Volkswagen and Toyota Motor Corporation is chosen as the base organization. It is the

The main problem faced by Toyota is related with the recall which is done by companies.

recalls it might affect their overall goodwill which lead towards the increment in competition

has been used by the Volkswagen in the past in order to pass the emission test and introduce
more number of cars at marketplace and enhance their sales performance in adequate manner
(Gloor, 2012). It has been seen that this activity adopted by Volkswagen has affected its brand
image at marketplace a lot and has also developed negative image of this brand among its
customers’. It is further said that usage of cheat device has created situation of cars recall as the
company has removed the device according to complains received from customers’ side.
Furthermore, it has also created edge for the competitors too as due to the affected image of
company it is easier for respected company to attract more number of customers towards them
and influence their sales performance in the positive manner.
