Information related to subject matter can be found by using search engines. In this a topic needs
to be selected on which information is required to be collected. Specific phrases can be searched
on internet. An individual who is been involved in searching for something must be aware of the
stop words. They can also familiarise themselves with Boolean operators so that search can
become better. Information needs to be gathered from relevant and authentic sites. Key terms
needs to be used when searching for adequate information. This will assist an individual in
getting what they need. Sources evaluation basically means process of analysing the information
for the given purpose so that they can evaluate if it is appropriate for use in the intended purpose.
Evaluation of sources is really important so that outdated information is not being used. The
sources which are been selected for collection of information needs to be accurate and relevant.
In this credibility, accuracy and validity of data needs to be analysed and evaluated. The
information which is selected must not be bias in nature. This will assist an individual in making
sure that relevant data is collected.

CRAAP test and how to make use of it
CRAAP test is an acronym used for Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose. In
the currency an individual need to evaluate timelessness of information. In this researcher needs
to check when is the information being published or posted. Researcher also needs to make sure
that the links which has been collected by them are functional in nature. The information is
relevant or not. Researcher can make use of CRAAP test and make sure whether they are
comfortable by using sources. In this the source of information is also been checked, individual
needs to also be involved in checking if the URL that is been used by them is authentic in nature
or not (Jaakkola and Aarikka-Stenroos, 2019). This can be done by making use of CRAAP test.
It is the most used test which is been used and evaluated by researcher. It has also been evaluated
that the accuracy in this test assists researcher in making sure that information that is being used
is accurate, truthful, and also correct. In this they need to check that data which is collected is
accurate and reliable in nature. This will assist researcher in evaluating the sources properly. By
making use of this test research can be made relevant. An individual by making use of this
CRAAP test can also analyse and evaluate whether the information that is collected is not
