5IMPACT OF BREXIT ON UK ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE
Topic: Impact of Brexit on UK’s organizational performance
Introduction
Brexit has affected the businesses and the organizational structures in UK. The nation
planned to exit from the European Union (EU), which has benefitted the nation economically.
The identification of the change in the systems and the justification of the transition are based on
the fluctuations in the market conditions of the nation (Zaderenko 2017). Brexit has helped UK
in undertaking more trade through the expansion of the scopes to indulge in the marketing
practices in the entire international markets. It will be helping the nation to bring in changes in
the performance of the organization sin the nation in the international markets. However, Brexit
will be affecting the activities of marketing of the nation in the EU through the implementation
of tax tariffs.
The discussion is aimed at identifying the different changes in the nation through the
implementation of brexit and the manner in which it has influenced the organizational
performance and the growth of the nation in the international markets.
Discussion
The changes in the organizational structure of the companies in UK depend on the
economic and trade conditions that are faced by the nation while marketing in the international
markets. The identification of the static changes in the functioning of the organizations in the
international markets is affected through the trade income (Johnson and Mitchell 2017). The
full access to the EU market is facilitated through the indulgence of UK in EU. However, Brexit

will minimize the chances of the nation to indulge in the trade practices in the EU regions
through the imposition of tax and tariffs. It has affected the growth of trade undertaken by UK in
the EU markets. Nemeczek and Pitz ( 2017) stated that he impact of the Brexit is measured
through the fall in average UK incomes by 1.3% (or £850 per household). However, Pappas
(2017) argued that the pessimistic scenario asserts an increase in the trade costs that are
undertaken b the nation by 2.6%. It has affected the growth of the organizations in UK and their
scopes of expansion in the EU markets (Mishra, Dimri and Chaubey 2017).
Brexit has enabled the nation to remove all tariffs unilaterally on imports from the rest of
the world, which has affected the nation through fall in the incomes by 2.3% (Ferry and
Eckersley 2018). The diminishing trade of the organizations in the nation has affected the
productivity of the same in the markets. HARTWELL and HORVATH (2016) stated that the
increase in the costs of the trade has affected the trade through an estimated loss of 6.3% to
9.5% of GDP (about £4,200 to £6,400 per household).
On the other hand, Johnston and Buongiorno (2017) stated that brexit has affected UK
through the alienation from the business deals and the benefit that the nation would derive from
the deals that the EU might undertake in future with the other nations. It has affected the
functioning of the organizations of UK in the international markets (Van Reenen 2016). Brexit
thereby has also affected the nation through the alienation from the deals with Japan and US,
which might have helped the nation in bringing in improvements in the real income of the nation
by 0.6%. However, Hatzigeorgiou and Lodefalk (2016) stated that the brexit has has helped UK
in staying away from the compromises that the nation undertook with the other EU states.
Therefore, the changes in the nation is facilitated through the changes in the structure of the
business in the market. On the other hand, brexit has minimized the scopes of UK to undertake

trade with the EU states or the nations with which EU deals. It affected the trade in the nation
drastically (Reid 2017).
The organizational structure in the nation is dependent on the fluctuations in the
international markets and is exposed to various risks due to the fluctuations in the market
structure. It is also characterized by the changes in the type of the elements that has impacted the
growth odd the companies in UK to undertake free trade without the imposition of the varied
taxes with the nations in EU (Blackaby 2018). At one point brexit offered opportunities for the
nation to grow in the international markets through the delineation of the common regulations
enforced by EU. However, Morel et al. (2016) stated that brexit has affected the productivity of
UK and has compromised the opportunities of the country to be a part of the developments that
might be taken by EU in future.
The identification of the various issues that are faced by the nation is based on the
delineation of the different factors that affects the trade and commerce of the nation. The
prospects of the change in the organizational structure are dependent on the future prospects of
undertaking trade in the international markets (Kierzenkowski et al. 2016). The different aspects
of the change are based on the determination of the needs of the nation to make its progression in
the international markets.
Conclusion
Therefore, from the discussion it can be stated that the negative impacts of the brexit on
the organizational performance in UK is larger than the positive impact of the change. Brexit has
affected the income of the nation through the diminishing productivity of the nation. it has

affected the growth of the organizations in the nation and their undertaking of the trade in the
international markets.
Post presentation reflection
The identification of the academic style of writing is facilitated through the
brainstorming of the ideas. The identification of the ideas has helped me in understanding the
different aspects of topics and the manner in which the ideas can be presented in favor of the
topic. Brainstorming the ideas helps in perceiving the topic and the requirements of the same. On
the other hand, researching helps in undertaking the continuous improvements whole
understanding the needs of the topic. Planning helps in maintaining the paradigms of the change
in the topic segments and the manner in which the research can be undertaken. Planning helps in
the systematic execution of the ideas to bring in changes in the systems of the research for
attaining the goal of the same. Writing the research helps in expressing the ideas on the topic
and undertaking the research. Editing the research work helps in maintaining the accuracy of the
research function.
Development of academic skill
The development of the academic skill that is facilitated through the module is
researching. Researching has helped me in understanding the different aspects of the topic and
the manner in which the research will be benefitting the needs of the examination. The module
has helped me in identifying the needs of the research objective and the methodologies that can
be used in the research depending on the type of investigation that I am to consider. The
understanding of the research objective and the methodologies has helped me in determining the

direction of the flow of the research and the manner in which it can be given the shape to grow as
