You report should be approximately one page long and written in clear and
concise English. Make sure you match the style of your writing to suit the
audience.
Work life balance report-
It is found that there has been good status when it comes to work life balance. The organization
was having great ability to generate satisfaction. The organizational policies were supportive to
the employees so can offer them better life status. Along with working hours they are allowed to
take their leisure time, on the other hand, they have made good holiday arrangements. There
were some issues such as over time, leave issues etc.
Action Plan-
Over time- For this issue there is need to make some actions such as offering leave calendar
which offers flexibility so the people doing overwork may take relief.
Leave issues- There must be online arrangements so may make this system more flexible.
10. Update Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
i Assume that the Health and Safety Officer of your business has emailed
you to support your proposed actions for Work/Life Balance actions.
They advise that a further improvement would be to ensure that the
actions are formalised in the business’s Health and Safety Policy and
Procedure. This should be a policy statement about the organisation’s
commitment to Work/Life Balance.
Review the Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and update it as
recommended by the Health and Safety Officer. The update will be a
short statement about the organisation’s commitment.
i Highlight any changes you make to the Health and Safety Policy.
Assume that more time has passed and the work-life balance
policies and procedures have been implemented (for the cases
study, this is 12 months).
Policy statement-
These are the changes which are to be imparted-
The health and safety constitution of the organization would be made.
It would be utterly separate.
The monthly audit would be carried out.
The reviews of employees would be taken.
